What a good example of a good model. I have a 95 FXD in the same colour. 25 years old and it will never be sold. These bikes are really worth owning if you find a low mileage unmolested example.

I have a 93 FXDL in the same color with that same handlebar that I'll never part with! They are loud, proud, and ride smooth! Mine isn't as pretty as that 98 but after seeing this fantastic video I have some work to do! The best low rider video I've ever seen, simply awesome

Have a 94 FXDL, bought it new. I have over a 100K miles on it. Still runs great. I changed the bars, wish I didn't. Can't get em any more. (Last year Evo was 99. But only Soft tails got em.) Got a 2022 FXBBS in October. It's a little monster! The Dyna has a cushier ride though.

first year twinkie was actually 99, which was also last year of evo, the twincam is an insanely reliable engine, as was the the evo, you could find an evo in softails in 99, but all dynas were twinkies. the reason we went back to a unicam design was because it was necessary simply due to the size of the jugs.

Fukn love my 05 lowrider 🤘💯 the only problem you'll have is chain cam tensioner or shoe replacement.... Which your supposed to keep a check on that kinda stuff and they recommend checking it after so many miles. Keep a check on em or go hydraulic or gear it up. Do any one of those 3 and that tc88 5speed will take you a long way friends. 🤘💯

Cool dude. Total clasic manlie sounding Harly. That's my only beef with the V-Rod. Though the V-Rod is my fave and I so want 1. It doesn't have that total man's bike sound to it. lol
@David-og7di3 жыл бұрын
are they that good? A lot of the 1% types in NZ ride them as theyre fast but I cant see the beauty in them.
@MrHamit643 жыл бұрын
@@David-og7di Are you asking me about the V-Rod? I don't know I've only heard of them. Sadly never got to ride 1. But love what I heard.

I have had my 98 FXDWG 16 love it.i only changed the original battery 2 years ago .it's on the original drive belt. Such a simple reliable bike n fancy electronics ,simple carb.OK you have to warm it up , but hey who is in a hurry. Feet foreward wins every time.

The only really downside was from the factory didn't have enough horsepower. Need to do the right mods to the motor to get another 25 = 35 hp then you really got a good bike. I do think the evolution motor overall is more reliable than the twin cam, but the torque of the twin cam is it's major appeal.
@KD-nb3mp4 ай бұрын
Yep.... a stage one does wonders though and a cam really wakes those evos up. Making 70-75hp to the wheels is enough to have fun in my opinion.

Put a Carlini Torque Arm on it, or the inner primary might shatter. A fork brace would be amazing on it.

Over a 100k of riding my 94 FXDL like a dirt bike. OEM inner primary. ( They really do need a fork brace though.)

Also cool. 1998 the year of Godzilla. 2 things there though. It's the Godzilla G fans hate, and it's not even a Godzilla. It's a Goddess. I don't care what the movie says. That thing was a chick. The roar was too chicky for a male.
