Glad I'm not the first person to be reminded of Gran Turismo 2, such amazing cars. The 90s really was the pinnacle for Japanese sports cars

It was truly a great time. Grand Turismo 2 and 007 Golden Eye and JGTC cars. I drove a CRX SI and DREAMED of an NSX. I owned a 91 CBR F2 and CR 250r. The Japanese gave me all of my joy in those days.

Supra with brake issues and Skyline with a missing gear yet both were leading the race. That's some top tier driving right there.

For me, the late 90s to the early 2000s was when the JGTC peaked. The three way rivalry between the Skyline, Supra, and NSX was awesome

Good old days 🥰🥰 All this car here still look so modest without extreme wide body panel .. Everytime i play GT2, i always use Super GT NSX unless when i lazy (just settle the race with monstrous Escudo)

Only thing I don't like is the McLarens, Porsches and other non-Japanese cars. It's Japanese GT Series, so why there were those non-Japanese cars. At least DTM was some time with German cars only (Mercedes, BMW, Opel and Audi). But still, legendary cars and in my opinion it's still beautiful to watch.
