This unit is the first converted Evolution in the country. Despite facing many challenges and changes, the car is still running fantastic after its swap more than 12 years ago.

Sorry to say bro but Evo doesn’t share the same chassis as their compact version lancer evolutions. Unlike the mark2/supra/crown shares the same chassis as like their turbo version the evos doesn’t share the same chassis.

Hi brother. I have converted an evo 4, 5, 6, I have restored evo 8,9 and have owned an evo X. The evo 4,5,6 chassis are almost identical to lancer CK chassis except the rear floor pan and strut towers. CT9A is quite different, for similar reasons. They can both be converted. If you are an expert in evo conversion then please do share more technical details. Thanks

@@Pasarfutarpagolthat is incorrect. In Class C, Mohammad Shaz used an Axio to score a respectable 61.5s and in Class A, the Evo 5 managed an unbeaten 57.091s. Mohammad Shaz is Group C winner (non sports cars within 1500cc capacity) and Group A winner and over all Champion is the Evolution 5. You are misinformed.

The car is very detuned for the rallycross. Its only making 200whp now. We also ran out of fuel right after the pull. I will go back to my original engine power soon.
