Can you imagine the crowd cheering like that during the approaches of current players? PDW would execute every last one of them :)))

Pete bowled during that era… It’s not a problem if it’s consistently loud. Now you can hear a pen drop in the crowd, it’s too quiet!

@@michaelmarsico9740 Even with those constantly cheering league-night environments, Pete found success. That was evident at the 1998 PBA National Championship.

Wasn't that considered using a foreign substance on the ball by doing that. I thought I was the only one that noticed it.

Before Tom Daugherty, there was this man, Mike Miller, the only difference is, Mike Miller shot a 300 on TV (1999, National Bowling Stadium Open) and Tom Daugherty bowled a 100 on TV (2011, TOC), but if it weren't for this man, there probably would be no Tom Daugherty or even no Jason Belmonte or Osku Palermaa on Tour, all 3 pf those players also won and their styles, much like Mike Miller's, are all proven to be effective enough to win titles (and majors at that)

While Mike Miller was lacking his hand and rubbing the ball with it, my question is, isn't that putting a foreign substance on the ball to help it grip the lane. In all the years of me bowling, I have never seen anyone do that.

Joe Krison...whatever it was I said or did, I'm sure I was an ass, and all I can say is I apologize. No Excuses, and No Explanations. Should we ever cross paths again, please feel free to introduce yourself, and I will be glad to tell you in person. There are many things I would like to change in my life, but I can't, so all I can do is be responsible for items like this, and be different.

Mr. Miller, the pure execution of those shots was just SPECTACULAR!! I missed this telecast when it first aired because I was at the first of two BBQ's that day for Father's Day. A lot of bowlers are avid golfers as well. I am not sure if you like golf, but an interesting thing is that this tournament was the same day that Payne Stewart won the 1999 US Open at Pinehurst over Phil Mickelson. And yes, this brings back nostalgia like you would not believe!! I congratulate you for this amazing feat. And believe me, I don't feel that you're an ass at all. You are someone who loves to have fun, like so many of us. We all cross the line sometimes. I have to admit, that dance you did after that fifth frame strike was PURE GOLD!! I was laughing so hard when I finally got to watch this telecast. Believe it or not, I didn't get to see it until right around the middle of 2014. But again, that execution was amazing!!

You're right! On one telecast, he tried to intimidate "the great" Randy Pederson by talking trash. Well.......he got his ass kicked (not literally) on the lanes by Randy. Definitely not a well liked bowler on the tour.
