There is a repair sleeve on the transmission where the throw out bearing would slide on. The provided throw out bearing with the kit should be an updated version to avoid using the repair sleeve.

Im doing same thing to a 2005 2.5rs in spring. Just wondering why you didnt source a replacement harness from a manual 2.5rs? does your car throw false codes at all?

no we did it the easy way and yes it does occasionally throw false codes. currently im not worried because im going to 04-07 sti swap it soon with a merge from iwire

Do you have the link for the manual swap ecm wiring diagram? What pin do you tap into to ground the ecm? Thank you

Im sorry I do not have it saved and I do not recall off the top of my head what pin it was, I recommend checking out Dirtcheapdaily's video for the pin location and for the diagram i searched a long time on google images to find it off of an australian website.

Ebay!! JDM dual cup holders is what to look for, I believe this one came out of a forester of the same year

sadly to this day I do not have abs, I'd like to believe its made me a better driver but honestly I've had way too many close calls without it. The process to get would be to pull the entire abs unit from the car you got the 5spd from, lines and all, and swap that with your old abs, for some reason the tranny doesnt want to talk to none auto abs units
