I had just got a 1999 toyota camry le. It does have a salvage title but it runs, and drives. No leaks ac and heater works. Lovely little car. Love the gas too. But i was wondering why one of my headlights where on. I learned it had the day time running lights. But one of my lights where only on. This video made me check the light buld that wasnt turning on. I pulled it out and it was all brokedn and messed up now i have to get a new wire as well😂

Very informative video for me with the drl sensor. I have a problem where my auto lights don't turn on (manual work both high and low) but not the auto lights. My cluster lights up with low oil level, battery charging, abs and the one with a car and lights point down (looks like a car seen from the top with the rear lights on) I don't have DRL since I live in Europe, but I have a red dome sensor/light on top of the dashboard in front of the Guage cluster and i can't for the life of me figure out what it is. Do you have any ideas??

Right headlight dim in DRL, low, and high beam mode. Not the fuses or bulbs. Is a relay possibility the problem?

I think DRL arent supposed to turn off with light, hence "Day" time running lights. They are always on. That sensor is for your actual headlights to turn on automatically when its dark. Otherwise, thanks for the Video.

My Toyota lights would not turn off today (even with car off) and switch for light on steering column did not turn them off. When I watch your video, which is great. I unplugged the resistor in back of trunk and switch worked and light went off. No daytime running light but lights work correctly now. That resistor must be my problem. Thanks for your explanation in video. Not sure how I will replace the resistor.

Question for you. I have a 2000 Toyota Camry. The DRL lights are not working, as well as the high beams. The low beams work. All the fuses are good. Could it be the DRL relay is stuck in the low beam position? Or could it be the resistor up by the firewall??

My problem too the resistor by firewall, when I unplugged mine everything but high beams and drl worked correctly.

I got a 99 that the headlights won't turn off ever and when its light out the head light and parking lights won't come on together it u put switch on the auto the headlights are on when u move it to the all the time on light the headlights go off and the running lights come on but at night they all work just don't turn off
