after the recent rule changes , modern style looks actually mostly the same as this old one. The 12-16 era was the worst. It was the result of the bad rule set combined with the introduction of electronic scoring

Yes it is. And the sad thing is these athletes of today train hard and have lots of skill and talent but don’t use it in the ring.

@@RedPumarius the way of the fist and the kick I know. It's point sparring I guess there's limited punching coz kicks fetch more points and punching in this scenario leaves you vulnerable to counters using kicks which is an advantage to the opponent. Maybe you'd find ITF style more entertaining or even Olympic style karate
