It's the "anti-lag" system they have installed. Basically, the engines are setup so that unburnt fuel is sent into the hot exhaust manifold/turbo. This fuel then ignites, expands, and keeps the turbochargers spooled up when the throttle isn't being applied, or when the throttle is cut momentarily during shifting.

He said nothing of the sort. He was repeating the tired argument of "oh it was so much better in the past" when it obviously wasn't. Sorry if you think I'm being nasty. I'm still in a bad mood from what Romain did to the Saubers at Spa yesterday. I don't like it when drivers get hurt. Group B cars were cool, but everyone acts like they were the best thing to ever happen to rally when they were one of the worst. Besides, I don't think the comment was nasty. It was sarcastic.

At what point have I insulted anyone? I don't think you're reading my comments with the right tone. I apologized for being sarcastic. No problem if you don't accept my excuse. But I have yet to use a single curse word or insult anyone directly.
