Hello Michael, very interesting as always. The jetting charts should be created specifically for various types of carburetors. The usual jetting charts are generally not usable for the "Dellortho SI" carburettors ;-)

Do you have any experience with using a wideband AFR meter in a 2 stroke? I was considering bolting one to a long clamp that I could stick up the tailpipe to take any guesswork out of tuning multiple bikes but I don't know if any special considerations need to be made for operating one with mixed gas.

No, I'm not a fan of exhaust oxygen analysis for 2 strokes. People want that to be a clear cut method but it isn't.

The large amount of fresh mixture going straight out the exhaust of a typical 2 stroke will mess up the oxygen sensor readings. You'd need to run a catalytic converter upstream of the sensor... if you could prevent that same fresh mixture from melting it.

The correct question is two fold: 1) is there one perfect color for all engines? 2) can the human eye notice a few % change in color?
