Drew and Tee hunt for hidden treasure at a stately 400-year-old school in Cambridgeshire. Down the road in Herefordshire, the chaps tour one of the oldest paper mills in the UK.
Drew Pritchard, the owner of one of the UK's largest decorative salvage yards, is always on the lookout for new items to replenish his stock, and he has no qualms about scouring the countryside for them. This series follows Drew as he searches for old and lost pieces of history throughout the world, including some opulent estates. But locating them is only half the battle; Drew must persuade the owner of each object to sell it to him for a good price, and then it's off to the scrap yard, where his team restores it to its former glory before selling it for profit.

Paper man Paul needs to get out into the world more often ... LOL. Mrs Gilmour sounds as if last years Opera "after" has lasted until that very morning. Too much smoking and large quantities of Strong alcohol ... Charming woman though.

Drew's magic Van! It fascinates me. They buy something and it goes in the van. Yet next time you see the van it is empty, ready for the next purchases. They then also mysteriously disappear .yet when they get back to base everything has magically reappeared! Does he do a magic act as a side line? the number plates change frequently too.

Wildflower seeds were used in ancient times for a glaxed look but done differently in early 1950s but only as rare novelty in the 1970s ad far as I remember!?

What I have come to do when it comes to my upholstery leathers is that I want mine to look used by not abused so when people's sofas and easy chairs get to the point that they want to replace them they toss them out to the curb, I skin them leaving the carcase behind and roll up the skin for future use. I can make up a separate cushion to put on a wooden chair or pillows for a sofa etc and not have to spend a dime. I make a pillow form out of comforters that people have donated to the charity thrift shops but only get those that are down-filled rather than the feather. They are softer.

Love their "country breed" dog. One o the reasons why I adopted by Nala, her father is a long haired datshound and the mother a chiwuahua but somehow a terrier got in their! Being the only female in a litter of 9 I have to remind myself she is a she and not a he although she probably could clear a field of most any wildlife even if it meant tunnelling in after them.

Great to see Rebecca and Drew ride off in that black Beatle. I had a red one with sliding top in the 1970's. My first car was a white Karmen Ghia. German-made.

I haven't gotten that far in the video, but cracks me up when they go to a place that is looking to make money to go to restoration, they sell 300 pounds of furniture and then say that they are going to put that money to good use restoring the place. What, enough money to buy a gallon of paint?

Just watch more shows - it evens out. He often gives people too much and barely makes anything, and he has staff to pay. If people ask him to visit their mansion and its hours away from his shop, they should expect he'll need to pay for a half day of his time and mileage for the visit. People often want him to pay near retail, which is just crazy.
