Edit : There's a video of someone asking Yaning about the first round ( the drama is mentioned ) and basically she said that the teachers asked her to diss Yujin. In addition, she said that even the atmosphere was great and C girls immediately text her after the editing ended. She even held back her tears and let it out once she called her parents. THIS IS SO UNFAIR TO YANING AFTER SHE GOT NEGATIVELY AFFECTED BY THE HATE COMMENTS. In conclusion, MNET is trying to portray the C trainees as the mean people based on what on some trainees said of their experience. I'm worried for Shen Xiaoting now after being the only C member.

In the show, the girl states she wanted to act fierce and confident, but I think she mistook being fierce with being disrespectful. There’s a mutual understanding in Korea to respect older, more experienced idols and to be kind to all others. It could just be Mnet’s editing trying to make her seem ruder than she really is, but she shouldn’t have done that

On a recent interview that Yaning had she revealed that she respected Clc greatly but the planet masters kept on pushing her to make a comment to Yujin. After the episode was aired many c group trainees called her asking if she was okay. She called her parents telling them that it was upsetting and cried .

k-pop idols are not someone who only dance and sing, you know? personality is the most important. even you a talented person, but with the bad attitude won’t bring you a success

“Everyone is turning around and suddenly liking Fu Yaning” that is because the reason people didn’t like her was how Mnet portrayed her. We’ve had confirmation from one of the former contestants, Liang Qiao, who’s basically exposed so many things about the show before it’s even ended. Qiao has said that Mnet and show producers chose all the songs for the girls during the first two episodes, the audition round, and then also chose who they interacted with on camera. Yaning and her group were chosen for Helicopter, and Yaning was told to say something to Yujin. It’s also been said by many of the eliminated Chinese contestants that they felt like Yaning was actually really kind, nice to everyone, etc. I’ve also seen native Chinese speakers who also know English actually translate what Yaning said with that Helicopter performance. Everyone thinks she said “our team will do better than the original (CLC)” as if she was being arrogant, that’s how Mnet translated it. But, in reality, she said something more along the lines of “our team will show a different side of the song than the original” meaning just trying to show a different energy or perspective. Yaning had also stated that she simply wanted her teammates to feel confident in front of everyone. But honestly, Yaning probably wouldn’t have even said anything about Yujin or CLC in the first place had she not been told to. Funnily enough, people have seen Yujin and Yaning hanging out, shopping together, when Mnet lets them go out of the dorms from time to time. So. I don’t think someone who felt truly disrespected by another would hang out with them off camera. I also feel like is Yaning was actually this huge bitch, the judges wouldn’t have let her team win. (Btw I know Yaning has sang the n-word in songs in the past, and I don’t support that at all. If that’s your reason for not liking her, I totally support you on that. I will say that not a lot of people know this but Yaning did apologize for singing the word, stating that things like the n-word or black culture aren’t really taught in the part of China she lives in, and so when she sang the word it was just a word to her. I’m not one to judge if she meant it or if she’s actually sorry, I just want people to be aware that she did acknowledge the situation. Social media in China is completely different than the USA, Japan, or South Korea. Chinese social media has its own apps, they aren’t supposed to use Tiktok, Twitter, etc. because it’s banned. Of course that doesn’t mean they can’t maybe get a VPN to use those apps, but I’m not entirely sure about it. Just keep this in mind.) Qiao corrected how her sister Jiao was going to the bathroom a lot because she had a stomach infection. I think most of us have had a stomach flu or infection before, right? Or at the very least had upset stomach from anxiety? It feels like you need to be next to a toilet at all times. But Mnet never once mentioned that. Instead, Mnet wanted Jiao to seem lazy or confused or not able to work in a team. We’ve had Cai Bing and Wang Yale appear to be arrogant leaders who don’t listen to their teams, but we also know from Qiao that they were never given translators. Ever. Even if they ask, they get told no. They don’t have phones so they can’t use translation apps, only a few girls brought dictionaries in their language translated to Korean or Japanese because they probably expected something like this. Wang Yale was speaking slightly broken English and very broken Korean to people who speak Japanese and Korean, maybe a little English. They didn’t know Chinese in return. Cai Bing speaks a little Korean and English, but really just Chinese, and we can see her struggling to speak to her team when they all get frustrated, because when you’re frustrated the little part of your brain that understands language and logic just goes out the window honestly. Cai Bing was speaking through Chiayi who is fluent in Chinese and Korean to the girls. Why would someone who allegedly said “I’m the leader, you do what I want you to do” also break down and cry because she’s scared she’s the reason the girls won’t do well? Nothing of that whole situation makes sense. Mnet targeted the Japanese girls in Produce48, we know that, so it’s no surprise that they’re targeting the Chinese girls in this show. Just because they got in trouble for rigging votes doesn’t mean they’ll stop doing snake editing. C’mon, people. (I have copied this comment from my fellow commenter to spread the word)

The weirdest part was Fu Yaning saying that she did it to pass security on to others, because she did it in the worst possible way. She shouldn't have made comparisons, shouldn't have belittled Yujin to elevate herself. She didn't really need to do this. She could have stopped at "we go up", could have said "we're gonna be great" instead of "we're gonna be better than the originals". It really ruined everything.

Tiffany wasn't buying Fu Yaning's attitude lol she's been an idol for years so she knows the struggles from being a trainee to being an idol. she must've felt bad for yujin so she made the mood lighter and encouraged yujin to redeem herself. Edit: I watched ywy and used to like fu yaning at that time but the attitude she has shown in this ep was just not it. Plus, knowing that she has said the n-word multiple times is really a hard pass. I'm disappointed.

Fu Yaning is definitely talented, but I don't appreciate her attitude AT ALL. It's one thing to be confident and want to encourage your teammates, and if she had said something along the lines of "I'm not worried about the original singer watching us because we practiced hard and think we can do well" I think there would have been no issue at all, while also showing her confidence in her group. But instead she had the audacity to say they are better than CLC themselves, who are an extremely strong performance group, and in front of a literal member of the group. Even if people vote for her she has lost my respect, and I don't see how she can go forward in a competition if she doesn't respect other trainees.

coming back here after gp999 ended and I just wanna say that C GROUP CARRIED THIS SHOW. mnet did them dirty, especially to yaning caibing ruiqi. this show would have lower rating without the C group drama. and I'm still angry at the fact that only 1 C group debuted. xiaoting was probably having mixed feelings between happy cuz she finally achieved her dream to become an idol, and also sad cuz she's the only Chinese member who survived to the top 9
