I filmed this unbelievable Toyota AE86 called "Rocket Funny" with 1JZ Turbo Engine modified from the THG Driftschmiede Team at Autodromo di Modena.
This 1JZ engine produces near 460 horsepower with 600Nm of torque!
In the video little overview of car, a lot of action on track and on-board of that car with some stunning sideways in first action with powerslides on the straight.

Holy Jesus fuck...this car is NUTS! Tuned to perfection. That's exactly what you want out of a 6 cyl turbo in such a light car. You touch the throttle and you are trying tyres. Absolutely brilliant!

the weight distribution should be totally off... How did they do to keep the car's behaviour like an AE with all that extra wieght? Dont get me wrong, I like the concept, but too much power, added to what I said avobe. I dont want to say its impossible to keep the handling like an AE, but it should be extremely hard to do so. I'm really skeptical here

thatunknownguy the Car weighes 975kg. The Front was cut almost completely and was rebuilt with alloy, Carbon and gfk. And Not to forget the suspension was custom built by a man who knows his stuff. It was 925kg with 4ag,

I am nobody to question the man's skills. He knows better than me for sure. Im just saying I was skeptical. They had to modify the chasis probably. That's why I had my doubts, but hey I might well be wrong

I am looking to setup a ae86 with a 1jzgte but everyone tells me that it will be no good for drifting and that I should keep a 4 cylinder. From your video it seems that this is not a problem. What are your opinion as to more people going with 1jzgte for drift on hachiroku or coupiroku

get a 4age blacktop if you want a good NA engine. if you want to go turbo just go 1jz it's not bad but it will ruin the car balance and what the ae86 is supposed to be..

Needs to be funktional.too low is Not good for damper travel. That Car is very soft and grippy
