1LT C8 Corvette without performance exhaust sound at start

This is a 2021 C8 Corvette without performance exhaust. Yes, you cannot change your exhaust tune based on drive modes or driver preferences, but it definitely does not sound bad at all! Even after warming up and the exhaust quieting it is throaty.

This is the video I've been looking for. Thank you! It sounds fine to me, especially since that's what I ordered. It's the performance that matters, not the sound. I plan on applying my money saved to have fun with it.

Don't option the performance exhaust. Pay slightly more for a much better sounding aftermarket catback

Yeah as an enthusiast tbh your best off finding your own aftermarket exhaust and Corvettes are cars you own for years so the money invested will be great.

This is not a $59,995 car the yellow stripes cost money so that automatically makes it not a $59,995 car by itself and I could just about guarantee you there's more options on this car than that

The point was the yellow stripe doesn’t change the exhaust sound and this is exactly what a $59,995 C8 sounds like. This car is $60,990 with the stripe and that is the only option, and again that will not change the exhaust sound.

Why is it $59,995 as this was the old base entry MSRP bare bones price before they raised it to the new MSRP of $65,895. Plus that stripe is a $995.00 option so….if this is a current year model this is actually $66,845? Now if this an old video from the 2020 model year you’d be closer.

I love it. It's quite but still has sound. Especially if your going to daily drive it. Who says every Corvette has to be loud to let every cop know when your coming or going.

Lol good luck, virtually non of these exist at the dealership cause they sell as soon as they hit the dealer. You’ll have to get in a 12-18 month wait list and put down 1G to hold your spot. I know this because im still waiting for mine lol

I would say you're wrong because I'm a Chevy fan, but my dad works at a dealership and one came in with a completely destroyed top end and it wasn't their fault. These newer corvettes are full of problems lol

It does not, it is the standard exhaust for a non-Z51 car. Some prefer to save the $1200 option because they plan on changing the exhaust with aftermarket.
