In this 1on1 interview, we talked to Brooklyn drill rapper, 22Gz. 22Gz has been buzzing lately due to his “Suburban Pt. 2” song, along with his freestyle on Funk Flex which recently got turned into the “Blixky Gang Freestyle”. We got to talk about his thoughts on the other drill scenes such as Chicago drill, and UK drill. We got his first reaction to artists like Unknown T, M Huncho, Octavian, and Top 5 from Toronto. He also discussed his thoughts on Drake’s “War” song, and whether he thought it was okay for Drake to step into the New York drill sound. 22gz also speaks on writing Kodak Black while he is currently in jail. This interview took place during our New York trip, at Blastoff Studios. Kids Take Over is based out of Vancouver Canada.
