Todays video is super fun, i'm so excited to be sharing it with you! I am sharing how I decorated and prepared for our sons first birthday party! The theme was First Trip Around The Sun, it includes a lot of outer space themes! I show you how I decorate with a balloon arch, banners, backdrops. I also share how I make space themed appetizers, including a fruit bowl, veggie plate, and cheese and crackers. Last but not least, I also share how I make his space smash cake and galaxy cupcakes! This video is so much fun, I hope you enjoy it!

I’m doing a space theme too! Tip for the cake. The first coat would be the “crumb coat” since the cake usually crumbles into it. This should be a thin layer and then refrigerate. Then you can apply another layer that shouldnt have any crumbs!

This is fantastic! I’m a big fan of beautiful parties at home! I’ve done this for my boy/girl twins for eleven years now. We’ve done Under The Sea (first birthday), Colorful Zebra, Rainbow Hot Air Balloon, Beach Boardwalk (my personal favorite), Mermaids ‘N Mates, Down On The Farm, Ice Cream Parlor, Flamingos ‘N Gators, Amusement Park, Hawaiian Luau, then we split up for the Eleventh. Emma had a Breakfast at Tiffany’s party (this was fabulous!), and Evan had a Chewbacca party! So much work, but so much fun!! Happy birthday to Owen!❤🎉❤

Oh my goodness!! Those all sound like so much fun!! I can't wait to continue making these parties for Owen and Cece. Their birthdays are only a week a part, but I'm determined to throw separate specialized parties for each of them

I like to prep as much as possible the day before. I've always had our birthday parties in our home so it's made that aspect a lot easier! I had spent most of the day between caring for my kiddos prepping everything! It's a lot of work, but I love it!
