Authorities in Wuhan, China, imposed quarantine-like restrictions on the city of 11 million Tuesday, as they raced to stop the spread of a new coronavirus that's popping up in countries around the world.
In Wuhan, local tourist groups are now banned from traveling outside of the city and police are conducting random checks of private cars for live animals. Infrared thermometers and screening equipment have been installed at airports and major train stations, according to CCTV, the state television network.

I remember when i saw this on the news before school in the early morning. I thought nothing of for the next few days. As time went on things got surreal. Thousand's of people were dying. Millions infected. People started not coming to class. In the next few weeks, school's and business's were shutting down, leaving us students to learn at home. Its familiar now. Its become a routine. I hope we can a ll see this comment years from now and remember what happened.

I believe the virus was here before they announced it. In December of 2019, I went to the emergency room because I thought I had the flu. I was tested and it came back negative so they said it was allergies. About 1 week later, I returned because I hadn’t gotten better and I told the doctor that my chest felt heavy. They x-rayed me and I had double lobe pneumonia. It was scary because it took me 8 weeks to get better. I coughed so much that I bruised. I cried because it was so horrible to the point that I felt like I was drowning from the inside.

If u pay attention to the video, at 3:52, flights coming from Wuhan will only be allowed to land at certain airport. Also from other media sources, all the flights from the infected areas in China are required to land at those airports mentioned in the video.

Watching this on April 3rd, is hard. The US did not take it seriously and reacted way to late. We had months to shut down borders, start prepping for a medical emergency. Instead we were told soon there were will be 5 cases and then zero. TY leaders.
