The Portal Gun is my favourite. It’s incredibly iconic and would be really popular with gamers (such as myself)

I NEED that roman forum set. Its so beautiful. Honestly, i would buy anything roman they released. And there is a hige amount of historical buildings they could design to make an incredible lego city. The minifigures would look superb as well.

The Outer Wilds set would sell so damn quickly. There arent' many of us fans, but we're feral. look at how quick the vinyl disappears

Who doesn't want that Scooby Doo Mansion to become a set? Not only is the building gorgeous and a great fit for any Lego City, it gives those of us who missed the initial Scooby Doo wave of sets/minifigsa chance to get the latter (although some Lego investors might be annoyed seeing how valuable the Velma minifig is right now).

My favorite is the suspension railway. A really cool idea and great for play and display. My second favorite is Shrek's house.

British baking show is actually pretty damn popular in america. Netflix turned a lot of people on to it.

Wolfpack castle hands down.... It does need a little raft or boat though. I can only hope LEGO has something in the works if not that one, because these classic themes should be revisited for each faction and let the Ideas sets go to the more quirky creative things LEGO would not think of. Its a shame with so much variety and great builds only one can be chosen.... So its not even fair to pair up to things with popularity of the wolfpack castle.

The Spirited Away Bathhouse is my favorite. Studio Chibli has so much to offer for LEGO imo. I am also thinking about Howls Moving Castle for another contest.

The great British baking show I think is beloved in USA for reality shows... it actually focuses on the baking and not so much seemingly scripted contestant drama. It feels pretty genuine, but Its not something I ever thought would be manifest into lego.

Agree with me...disagree with me...I don't care which. There are several that I would definitely consider purchasing...but, there's only one I can say, without a doubt, that I would DEFINITELY purchase - the Moon Rock. I absolutely love the Japanese-esque theme to it. The only change to it that I'd line to see is, for the "rock" portion, use 2-3 slightly different shades of brown, or even 2 brown & 1 dark tan as long as they 'compliment' each other. Sure, I'd probably purchase some of the others, but this is the one set that really grabbed my attention.

For me Best are men in black set , roman set, and Rocky Reef man is the best just superb

Dang all of those are such great sets! As a medieval fan, I REALLY love the idea of the tournament and of course the gatehouse and bee farm sets also look so beautiful. And the Among Us and Outer Wilds sets just speaks to me as an avid gamer xD Sadly, I do agree with you that it's probably better that the Among Us one doesn't get produced because I just know that Lego will scale it down and lose all of the fun details. The mineral display is also right up my alley. The designer did a really great job replicating the different gemstones with Lego. Though if/when it comes down to it, I'd most likely just stick with my actual gemstone collection instead of spending a lot of money on plastic replicas. The reptiles and marine sets though? AMAZING! 10/10 would buy.

Hoping for the Jousting set. - The other factions can be mini box sets that are easily affordable. It would include 1 tent in faction colors. 1 Horse, 1 Knight, 1 Squire. Easily a 24.99 - 29.99 set that people will overwhelmingly buy to add on to the main set and just in general.

I personally want the portal gun, since LEGO has worked with valve once to make the Portal 2 level pack for LEGO Dimensions, including a Turret, Companion Cube, Chell and a minifigure scale portal gun, I could see them doing it again, especially since Portal is a popular game series, even if it hasn’t done much lately, though there’s apparently a movie in the works, but I’ve heard no news for it yet.

Have they changed the rules on number of minifigures allowed in a submission or does it depend on piece count? I had some fishing boats with captains and a family fishing rejected because there were too many figures (7 I think), but the bake off one has loads

My preference is the Wizard Peak, one day purchase, as I really like the way it looks, as well as the Portal Gun. The Bee Farm would go great with my Black Smith and Castles. We need a Animal Crossing CMF set, as well as with Star Wars and Historical Figures.

Reptiles!!!! Sooooo good. But that ocean one would also be fantastic. I totally agree, they need to make it easier for Lego fans to build all the sets. Missed opportunity for everyone😢

the hello kitty set is so cute!! i agree that itd have a good market (theres so many rip off lego brand items that you can find for hello kitty as places like 5 below) the licensing is definitely an issue. especially considering the current sanrio boycott might have a bit of an impact on what it ends as.

I'm from Germany and we have our own version of The Great British Bake Off. Or three of them. One with celebreties, one with regular people and one with proffesional bakers. I've also seen clips of the original on KZfaq. I'd say it's fairly popular around here and the set of the German version is similar enough that you'd just have to swap out the minifigs to display your favourite season from that.

My personal favourites that I think would be commercially good for both Lego & to please a wide variety of it’s fans are 1, the Canal boat (my absolute overall favourite of all the entries - I really ‘WANT/NEED’) , 2, Finding Nemo is the most appealing to me of all the ‘licensed’ sets( although I also love The Grinch as it was Xmas Lego sets that got me started as an AFOL). 3, the Rocky Reef Restoration - I just WOW’ed at all the details! & it’s educational as well as being beautiful to look at (thinking of it on a rotating turntable in a glass cabinet😍) I question if they’d choose this & Finding Nemo too, but I can live in hope! 🤞 I also totally agree that all the designers should be able to sell their design plans if they’ve not been chosen by Lego as I for one would definitely buy all the plans for my choices if they’re not chosen.

at least with portal they could include a fig scaled portal gun without a new part thanks to dimensions.

as a huge Gundam fan, I would love the Gundam set to go along with my actual Gundam model kits. though i an see the portal gun being one of the most likely. i'd also be keen the Ravenwood manor, my neighbour totoro or Suspended Railway. but my heart is set on the Gundam. there's so many great ideas in the running this time around.

Outer Wilds is one of the most beautiful video games and narrative experiences in general I've ever experienced. The ideas project (I believe) has also received an official endorsement from Mobius digital, who made the game. I just fear it's too niche a game to be chosen...

The last one i think is to well made and unique. Although i am not a fan, i would buy it. Just amazing. But honestly I am hoping for one of the two castle themes to get made, that's my jam😊

If they don’t pick that outer wilds one, we’re gonna have some problems.

I never heard of the baking show, but I also never heard of hocus pokus before it appeared at the lego store. It also never sells in my country so I don't think many others know either. Also like yes, the solar system in ideas looks MUCH better but they function pretty different since this one would show planet rotation while the official has a very accurate relative rotation and spin thanks to the ugly but well done technic work. For that reason I wouldn't call one more educational.

Other countries have baking shows as well. Remove all the flags and its pretty universal

I think the weirdness here is that it’s pretty huge in the US, but around much of the rest of the world they have their own regional variation. There’s a Canadian version, an Australian etc. ec.

For the among us sets, they could have each room as a cheaper separate set over time. So everyone would have a chance at buying it all if they want 🤷‍♂️

I feel that LEGO usually chooses an IP based finalist and a non-IP design for each round. Also a minifig design and a brick-built design. That being said, my guess is Reptiles + Shrek making the final cut!

Anyway I think the portal gun is very good. Probably the most iconic thing after or with glados. I'm not even a big fan of the game and haven't played it but I would consider buying it. And I know so many fans. I'm sure they would enjoy it.

The Minerals one is something I would buy

My favourite are Medieval Inn, Forest Base, The Stilt House, City Burger (amazing) and New York Corner. I would buy all of these for sure.

5:21 I actually found out recently the same that someone wanted tomake it as a official lego product but yeah chances its approved is slim but its more like a novelty someone is going to get it. I am a fan there are a lot of us but like eh maybe yes and no. Only notable thing to point out if it did somehow release in August its at that same release it releases the same gundam Model because its now the 45th Anniversary so its a no brainer move if it somehow got approved. "Somehow" but yes not bad it won to be in the selection this year.

For me its the MIB car. Thats bonkers !

The ones I would buy are ***Shreks swamp my fave***, the medieval bee farm, medieval inn, the cherry blossom plant, the greek holiday, Minerals display. While the joust might appeal more to castle fans due to the reasons you mention, the inn may have broader appeal imo. Wolfpack castle, coral reef a maybe for me. Houseboat a maybe maybe for me to spend money on. Airbender, Roman forum, Metallica, Scooby, I would want the minifigures.

Also sadly interstellar probably wont be chosen because the recent space set titled Interstellar Spaceship will block any chance it has at being chosen.

I really hope the egyptian temple gets selected. I would prefer an adventurers remake but it's close enough. I also love the greek house and the roman forum.

As far as I am aware there are official Hello Kitty sets by competitor/LEGO compatible maker keeppley. They also have official Pokemon sets, btw. So licensing probably a no go.

i don't really like the band and music sets that have been so frequent recently, like that one time there were 3 separate taylor swifts in the same wave. i just dont really see the appeal beyond the minifigs, but since lego did one or two before there's a whole lot of people doing their favorite musicians for ideas

While I love the look of the Metallica set, I don't see it being made. Ya know what I'd love to see... I CMF series of all musical people. They can have all genres of music sampled among the dozen figures, and it wouldn't be as extensive on the manufacturing side. If you're correct in that they're continuing Space into 2025, I'll be very happy. The anniversary Galaxy Cruiser got me back into LEGO after 40+ years, and I'm loving all the modern space sets. I'd love it if they went for a Fallout line. The IP might be too violent for them, but there is a chance if they think it would sell well enough.

I want a revive of lego castle I’m in Australia and sometimes I don’t get them in stores or it just doesn’t come over so if we get more it would be great to get a couple actually make it
