I use Pot Noodles as a base ingredient for something better. I start the de-clumping process by gently squeezing & rotating the sealed pot, then tip out the contents into a large mug. Add water to just below the brim; wait the usual few minutes with periodic further de-clumping. Then: Add Branston beans & sausages, or tinned chicken balti etc, or chili con carne. Match Pot Noodle flvours to suit! The 'extras' go in a bit at a time, mixing in and eating as I go!😋 I much prefer to use a mug for Pot Noodle preparation. The smell of hot plastic really puts me off!🤢

As an American, I can say that "sachet" is a word that we don't use or don't use on a large scale. We usually say packet or maybe in this case bag. I like to watch Lost in the Pond when he does the British English/American English comparisons 😊

Got yourself a new subscriber here. You showed up in my feed with your truth video. Mate, I understood every single word and feeling you expressed that day. I have a half pound of metal in my ankle from thinking I could dance down the porch steps. I was/am exactly the same. Binge drinking. For years. I'm 63 and thankfully very healthy. I've been 98 percent sober for a little over two years now. Every 3 or 4 months, I have some wine. Gave up the hard stuff over ten years ago. I think you are lovely. I've caught up on some food reviews. On one I saw grands? Coloring pics on the fridge. I got sober for my grands. Oh my, you Brits have some terrible processed foods. I've shopped online and tried the staples. Gosh Bisto gravy is divine, but so very bad for health. I'm a Monarchist and Anglophile. I study history on the daily. I was asked a while back the one person I'd like to meet. Queen Elizabeth 2 was my answer. I've always understood the Crown comes first. Stability. I envy that. Anyways, good on ya mate. I'll be here watching. My name is Charlotte, my pfp and funny name is for an online reunion coming up Canada Day. After that I'll change it back. I love mushy peas. I have a few boxes of Bachelors 😆. You can do this. I know how hard it will be. All my love🤗

Gareth what a great time to review soups 😂😂 On a serious note I wish you well on the recovery both with the Jaw and the dreaded drink. There will be a lot of viewers including myself that have had the taste for it. I stopped for 2 years but then replaced it with full fat coke 🙃 'naughty'. I then got the taste for a steady pinot vino and that gripped me because it got me drunk quick. Thankfully I've slung the bottles and just have the occasional carlsberg, probably the best move in the world ha ha. I'm of the same age 52 and I wish you all the best bud, keep doing what your doing and ignore the keyboard 🐓wombles👍

When I gave up drinking for a while I replaced alcohol with sugar free fizzy drinks that were really cold. A pint of diet coke fresh from the fridge might not be as satisfying as a beer but it can help to take away the craving because of the sensation. Good luck on your journey and I hope you succeed. Best of luck and good wishes hope you heal soon from your accident 🙂

Getting back in the groove, even if in stages, is good!😊 For instant noodles, I've tended to use at least the recommended amount of water, often more still. That's mostly to just obtain some small amount of filling factor, given the tiny amount of stuff you're starting with. Actually, in recent years I've been adding other items, such as frozen vegetables and meat (shrimp is a fave, with chicken coming a close second.) That makes for a far more substantial meal, but at a still low cost.

I pour the water almost to the top, I then break and smash up the noodles , then give it a good stir. Then leave it for a few minutes to settle. That way it stays claggy and you get little bits of the powder floating in the sauce. Great video Gareth- I'm glad you're getting there mate.

Great to see you back in the kitchen. I like the bombay badboy pot noodle too. Thanks a million for for keeping going. I'm getting ready to pack the booz in again in next couple days. I'm a night time drinker (10 cans stella every night) but I've been trying to quit and been off and on over the last 12 months, longest was a month off, trouble is I went back again. The first night off it is always bad for me, I pace the floor 6 hours straight with my whole life good and bad memories going through my mind, by around 7 in the morning it goes away and I feel ready for bed. The days after are never as bad and after a couple of days appetite for food comes back, sleep varies but not a problem. I used to be a pub drinker when I was working (been off work 9 years to look after my dad (dad passed away a year last month he was 79). I was a self employed window cleaner since I was 14 and I was a farm hand for a few years as a teen. I will keep you updated in the comments about how it goes with the drink.

You might want to be more circumspect about what you're putting into your body right now as you're detoxing and healing. That cheap noodle garbage has ZERO nutrition but plenty of crap that only adds to the toxicity of. your body. Please try to get actual protein and a lot of good fats into you and electrolytes. I understand you're not able to use your jaw - there are a LOT of ways of getting actual nutrition into yourself without using these cancer-causing fast 'food' options. Please have more respect for your body - you have a LOT of healing to do.
