Any government employee including an IAS can start a KZfaq channel as a hobby but its content should be of literary, artistic or scientific nature. However it should not be political in nature, and it should not criticize the government functioning.

@@jeet1101 As per rules, you are allowed to earn through intellectual property. This case would be similar to earning through writing books, selling paintings, composing music etc. Just because you are in service doesn't mean you cannot earn/invest through other means - even like buying a house, something most officers would have to do over a lifetime. In fact, every time any officer goes to give a lecture at any of the service training academies, they are paid by the government for the session! Same is the case for appearing on DD Channel for any discussion. So your assumption that just because someone is in service, they cannot earn through any other means is wrong. As long as it is intellectual content created by you, you can earn through it.

Salary is very less... NOW OAS cader should raise this pay structure to 6600 grade pay at entry point.. Equivalent to subcollector scale. Now in a block,Allopathic Medical officer, Veterinary Surgeons, ACF, and AEE are receiving the same salary to that of BDO. difference lies only on Power and Authority.... Best wishes Dear.

Basic pay is alright same as AIS. But HRA should be as per 7th pay, Transport allowance should be given and helath insurance benefits at par with CGHS. That would be enough.

Bhai I think HRA adhika thiba...because in group B we are getting 2700 .so being an Administrative officer how you are drawing only 2100 as HRA.your HRA will be (15600+5400)*20/100=4200

Whatever the competition level may be, you require one seat only. Prepare for OpSc rather than Upsc. Because in upsc candidates form all over the country will apply for 700 vacancy but for OpSc you have to compete within Odisha students only for same number of vacancies
