The reason why the beef is on the dryer side is because in African culture, we traditionally prefer to eat our meats well cooked, so to others it appears dry but to us, it’s perfectly cooked with no rareness 😂 Thank you for trying African (Nigerian) food ☺️🇳🇬

The Egusi seems tasty based on your descriptions. I wish there were restaurants that specialize in African cuisine around me. I’ll have to do a road-trip one of these days before I try following a recipe at home so I know how dishes are supposed to taste.

If only it was possible for you guys to try, Inuit food like our traditional meat, like caribou, beluga whale, seal, narwhal, polar bear, fish (Arctic char & trout ) haha, but idk if you would because we hunt them to survive up in Nunavut. Fresh meat is the best, hope this won’t be hated by others because we hunt them haha

I agree. Should do a little homework to know what the dish is, its ingredients, how it's made and its name especially if it's first time eating and introducing to others. Seems silly to just guess and make up as you go along. Does not show proper respect to the cuisine and culture.

Hello crunchbros. my Nigerian husband puts all his meat down in a stew.with dry crawfish it goes in all there soups and stews.he never made that type of dry meat only fried fish and he add fresh hot peppers to a blend along with other spices.I wish you could go elsewhere get that food.I'm very disappointed in how that dry meat looks.hi crunchmom
