Loved the video, the choice of music and the car of course. I had a 1989 GT and it was awesome (for all its quirks and features, as Doug DeMuro would say....). Thank you for putting the time and effort to document it so nicely.

I had a first gen Probe. Loved that car. Sport coupes of this type are no longer available in the US....I'm not counting 'muscle' cars like the Mustang.

Yo tuve uno y lo vendí y lo chocaron fue una tristeza verlo así acabado era un 94 y fue mi primer carro q tuve tda vía lo extraño 😢

I owned and drove a 1990, same color, looked identical to yours. I remember loving the car, the turbo boost was exciting at the time, my brother had an 89' Probe GT so I was familiar. The car was exciting in the 90's but these days it would be a joke to be honest, the side panels on the car were slabbed together. The ultimate probe was the 93 or 95 rework.,.

The Mazda engine on this car was great. It was the Ford body integrity/durability that killed this car, including the future Probes(my family owned 3). My 1990 which I bought used in 1998 with about 70k miles was taken very good care of but only lasted about 4 years. The engine was fine, but a number of issues, electrical, etc., mainly the failed power shoulder seatbelt(an early 1990's failure of an idea) caused my car to fail the safety inspection and forced me to trade it in rather than spend thousands to fix it.
