Ailee has been acclaimed by both those in the music industry and the general public for the "highest expectations for her debut", boasting of a charisma that takes over the stage as well as top vocal and sensational rap skills. She is the hottest newcomer to the entertainment scene for 2012 as she has also started acting in the KBS drama series "Dream High 2" even before her official debut.

Guys if you want to know the meaning of this song; That guy with the long hair is Ailee's ex-fiance. They only broke up because he passed away. Ailee is dating a new guy but she still misses her ex (You can see her watching their old photographs together and reminisicing their moments when they are still together) Ailee smiles because she knows he is watching over her. The guy is already a ghost all along, he's watching her because she wants to be happy and totally moved on.

+blitzer okay, since you decided to be a sarcastic shit when I'm just only stating the plausible explanation of the video.. I'm going to break it down to you anyway even tho it has nothing to do with the plot of the music video. So, Ghost apparently can cast shadows because they have entity. Anything that impedes light can cast a shadow to some degree or another. A ghostly image must impede light (reflect) to be seen at all Apparitions can somehow appear indistinguishable like a looming shadow. Or that's how majority says who personally experienced akin to paranormalcy.

This song makes me really sad. My boyfriend was one of ailee's fans. During his younger days, he used to listen to many of ailee's songs. However, he passed away due to terminal cancer last year. This song reminds me of him a lot :"" Hope he is better now.

This is probably the only kpop mv I've seen with such symbolic images throughout the video. The light and white colors are obviously representative of Heaven, and her passed fiance is portrayed to look like Jesus to show that he's watching over her and wants her to lead a happy life. And not only that, the new boyfriend is wearing black, which is symbolic of him giving respect to her ex-fiance, even though he probably doesn't know that her ex passed away, but people wear black to funerals for a reason: to give respect to the dead. I just think that's very sweet and very artistic. Props to these people who produced it.

Not discrediting this amazing piece of art, but there are plenty of sybolic mv's out there that are even more symbolic so much that it's hard to pick up. Red velvet's symbolism in mv's never fails to go up and over my head leaving me confused the whole video.

wow not only is her voice and song amazing but also the video is amazing! at first I thought this was just a happy love story between two people then when Gikwang came in I was like "WTH" (of course I fangirled when Gikwang came in cuz he's my bias and I didn't even know he was in this video, which is why it was a happy surprise) but I was still like "What?" then I got to the end of the video and I finally understood and now I just want to cry haha. also, KZfaq platform is more towards international views. solo artists are respected within Korea and they have different methods of watching videos and streaming. ^^

+shadow light um not all kpop groups get that much either. Many of them get around 20 million views and some like xo or big bang get more.

People, the guy is NOT a korean Jesus. I'm half Korean, so I know the lyrics. I'll explian to you what's going on in the MV. The 'Jesus lookig guy' is her prevoius boyfriend, who died a while ago and is now a ghost who watches over her. So in the begging of the MV, they're showing the girl and the guy together. But in the end, they go back to the begging and he's not there. Because he's a ghost and she can't see him. The girl was just remembing the good times she has with her old boyfriend on the tv and the photo album. The ghost is also remembering the goid times he had with her. Then, the girl's current boyfriemd comes in, and het ghost boyfriend smiles cause he's happy that the girl has moved on and doesn't grieve over him anymore.

이노래가 좋기도 하지만 저에게 기억에 남을 수밖에 없는 이유가 있습니다. 이 노래는 2012년에 발매되었고 2012년 4월4일날 전역한 사람입니다. 당시 쿡티비가 유행일 시절인데 매달 신곡을 바로 들을수 있었고 생활관에서 주말에 신곡을 들었는데요.. 이노래는 저에겐 정말 잊을 수가 없어요. 당시 기억을 떠오르게 해주는 추억에 노래입니다. 그립네요

She has been around for at least 5 years, but tried in the US for a long time. She came to South Korea to see if she could make it big and boy she has. I discovered her about 8 months ago and she is still blowing my mind. Boy the talent scouts here in the US missed out big time.

그 당시 많이 앞서간 곡입니다. 해외시장에 내놔도 손색이 없는 곡인데 국내시장에서 사장된듯해 많이 안타깝습니다. 기획사 사람들 당장 돈되는 곡만 내세울줄 알았지, 세계시장에 큰 안목으로 내돠볼 줄 모르는 ,정말 음악이 뭔지 알고나 있는지 참으로 걱정스러울때가 많습니다. 우리는 왜 세계적인 그룹사운드를 키울 생각을 안하고 그저 아이돌 일색 일까요. 트로트 열풍도 좋지만 이제 실력있고 열정 가득한 그룹사운드를 발굴, 육성해야 될텐데. 그들에 대한 외면은 언제쯤 끝날까요!
