Imo this is the only kpop mv that has tons of easter eggs and I'll try to crack it as much as I could ; -First, the title called 'Me' which in chinese, means beauty (mei), they're using this chinese character at the very end of this mv. -they're wearing hanbok and military outfit and vice versa means that beauty comes in every form, be it feminine (hanbok), or stronger one, almost like masculine (military outfit) . -Seungyeon behind a glass window with a painting of a lady in 0:27. That lady is Venus, the goddess of beauty from Ancient Rome Gods. It looks like she was trapped, in a box sorta almost like an exhibit for people to watch but in 2:16 , the glass was covered in black painting, and later , get smashed with the elk's head as her (Seungyeon) beauty will never be defined by anyone and can only be defined by her and herself only (since Venus is the literal form of beauty, she was idolised by people) -In chorus (0:56), we can see a white wall with a red stroke, symbolises danger and threats. - my personal favourite easter eggs, In 1:09 , the dance involved them doing the swipe down motion with their hand in front of their face. In sign language, this movement specifically means beauty or beautiful.

Andi Darko I was thinking more along the lines of,, yah the public knows they exist and it would be nice if the group’s prowess and versatility was acknowledged,, but sometimes I don’t even think Cheshires hype them enough. Like, I’m a new Cheshire and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone talk about how great yeeun’s rap game is. So the way I translated it was, not just getting more recognition,, but getting even the people who already recognize them to “hype them more” to stream, vote, talk about them. Like it’s different if people were like “YO CLC IS SO GREAT THEYRE SO AMAZING WHY DONT MORE PPL KNOW- “ but it’s more like “oh yah I stan clc too” idk if it makes sense.... Agreed!!! What's so odd to me is that CLC has some of the best discography in kpop, yet they never made it big. Like all of their songs slap. It literally just doesn't make sense why they aren't more popular. They were the perfect girl group. Ultimately it came down to Cube's shitty promotion and mismanagement that ruined them.

Imagine in 2020, they have a world tour, lightstick and a full album DISCLAIMER: this is my opinion Edit: it’s not that CUBE can’t give them these things, it’s just a that they don’t want to. They’re treating our girls unfairly. Even Elkie said that their set for Devil was a bit lagging. *Also, no hate here* but (G)-IDLE a fellow girl group in CUBE has got a light stick which means that CUBE has the resources to get them a lightstick. It’s highest likely they’ve given up on these talented queens (wasting so much talent) and are just giving them a comeback here and there to appease the fans but not promoting them well or giving them the resources they deserve

Lets just thank cube for not giving up on them and believing them❤️ Edit: woah, I didn’t mean to start any argument but CLC deserves everything to keep preserving even when they aren’t as popular in Korea like other artists. I love CLC with all my heart and I was worried CUBE would have given up on them because before their comeback for NO, it was rumoured they would have disbanded CLC so I’m happy that CLC is still together and that CUBE had the right business mindset to keep pushing CLC for another comeback.

Cube only changed their tune when the fans kept pouring their coins into this talented group. So screw Cube, but thank you and all the other Cheshires for working hard for these girls. ❤️

@@stanyeeun Oh I completely acknowledge that, as well as the sincere intent of the original comment by Harlow. But I think we can all agree that Cube was on the exact same mindset as Pledis was in terms of Pristin- not giving them great promotions, giving away good songs for them, no notice to fans of future projects, etc. I fully believe they were more than likely looking at other options, i.e. putting their stock in the future of (G)I-DLE. No hate on that group of course, I love both of them, but it was clear for a while that they were just about ready to hand the reins over to them and give up on CLC altogether. But the fans kept the momentum going for them, which is why Cube changed their minds and finally started pumping better production into a clearly talented group. So yes, in a way I agree with you, but I honestly think they were on the path of dropping them had it not been for the fans sincere and earnest support of them through everything.

@@XsomebodyXx Eeeeh, I wouldn't say that's accurate. We've seen plenty of occasions where fans had PLENTY of pull when it comes to their faves. A few examples come to mind, like SUJU and the basically permanent hiatus of Sungmin after fans were angered by his marriage. They can even have things as simple as choreography changed- case in point, those weird burpee style moves they had Itzy doing. Fans complained that it was too difficult and weird for the girls, and then magically one day the move got changed to something simpler. Currently, as well as in the past, we've even seen them force apologies from foreign idols for alleged insensitivity towards cultural affairs (stay strong Sana and Tzuyu). There are several examples out there, but I politely disagree that fans can do nothing and have no say when it comes to the groups they support. I agree that they don't ALWAYS have control over what happens (or else we'd still have Pristin here), but many times they have a lot more pull than you're giving credit, as history past and present has shown for idols and idol groups.

They are so mistreated. Debuted 5 years ago and they still don't have the recognition the deserve because cube can't promote them properly. They also still don't have a lightstick. They also haven't done a tour yet and rarely shows up on award shows. They are being mistreated to a 2 year old group. Cube is clearly focusing more on idle and is neglecting clc. No hate on idle tho, I stan, but cube is very much picking favorites.
