10 ThePerformanceLocker. Yes, this is one of the basics technique to stop an opponent. I'm footballer, and i play as role of midfielder and I use also both foot to stop the opponent forward , on the base, his strong foot is the right or the left....This is important!!

Nah regular defending is best Maldini technique puts strain on the legs and if you do get nutmeged it will take longer to turn around but for a slow attacker yes it will be good

@@natoslayer2907 i agree it also causes the attacker to make a quick decision with the fast movements I have used it a few times and the attacker’s panic idk why also due to the positioning it forces the attacker to their weak foot (depending on which way u face) giving u a advantage it is really something u should use if worst comes to worst imo
