There are more animals on the list of endangered species than ever before. Around 2,000 more creatures have been added to the Red List of Threatened Species. The figures were announced at COP28, the annual international climate conference. Scientists say climate change is putting the planet in a biodiversity crisis.

Why should we worry about endangered species? It's quite ordinary for Mother Nature. One species is gone, another species appears.
@saiflodhi3
@saiflodhi3 7 ай бұрын
Human intervention in nature's course is the problem. Many species that play a vital role in ecology are at threat/ risk of extinction because of millions of tons of waste (plastics in particular) that we produce. That's threatening for the mother nature itself !

It's not about losing species. It's about us. This is the warning for human: stop bullshit with the earth or you are next

I think nowadays most of the animals are becoming endangered because of human's activity not nature's laws. There's no doubt that these days people affect the environment more than ever before (e.g increase in CO2 emissions, deforestation, littering and so on...), this leads to damage of natural habitats of thounsands species.
