The human body is an incredible machine! It only works well if you take care of it. Here are some tricks, which if you follow, you have every chance to keep fit and have a healthy body. From healthy food to hygiene, we will discover the secrets of good health!
It is very important to eat in a balanced way. Let's have a diversified diet, but let's not exaggerate anything. Not too fatty, not too sweet, not too spicy, not too salty.
You must have heard that the human body consists of more than 60% water. We eliminate about 2 liters of water per day, so we have to give it back to the body, to complete the two liters consumed daily. For this, nothing could be simpler: you have to drink water. Be careful, even if you like them, juices are not water.
Fruits and vegetables must be indispensable in our diet. Whether we eat them fresh, frozen or canned, they make an important contribution to maintaining health, through the elements they contain: fiber, water, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, etc. Eating fruits and vegetables should be one of the main healthy eating habits. They protect us from many diseases such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease. In addition, due to their low calorie content, fruits and vegetables help us avoid weight gain.
If you have chosen to eat fruits and vegetables because you care about your health, then you have one more step to take: avoid snacking between main meals. Forget chips, cookies and chocolate! It is not healthy for the body to be bombarded with snacks all the time.
You must brush your teeth at least twice a day. Brushing your teeth is the only way to effectively fight cavities.
Surely you are tired of the words "Wash your hands!" Your teacher, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather always tell you them. Well, they're right. Here's what's happening! As soon as you touch certain things, viruses and bacteria get on your hands. Because they cannot penetrate through the skin, there is no danger to health so far. When we put our hands to our eyes, nose or mouth, the situation can become dangerous. This is because microbes can enter our body.
The only way to get rid of these little monsters, which do so much harm, is to wash your hands frequently. Use warm water and soap. It is essential to wash after going to the toilet or before eating.
It is good to know that vaccines also protect us from many diseases. Don't be afraid of a little sting! The vaccine gives you a picture of the microscopic bad guys, so your body can recognize and eliminate them when it spots them. Wonderful, isn't it?
For excellent health, you also need to exercise. Run, walk, jump, whenever you get the chance! Don't miss a single sports lesson at school. Practice a sport that appeals to you more: from swimming to football, from judo to tennis, any sport does wonders for your body. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, use the bike instead of the car. With at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day, you will be in great shape, much stronger and resistant to disease.
After a long day, you need to rest to regain your strength. If you don't get enough sleep, your body won't function as well. For example, you may have trouble concentrating, feel that you tire quickly, be agitated or nervous, get angry easily or have no patience with those around you.
