It is amazing how patterns seem to repeat themselves in nature. Crazy really.

They fire an electron beam at it until its charged really high (it's an insulator) then tap it with a grounded nail and the extra electrons rush to to ground point, creating the lightening like pattern

@Boss11212 I am absolutely sure. I have the program and that particular soundtrack is a part of the software. The author of this video most likely made it using Pinnacle Studio and then added the music via the program.

Okay... so if I understand this properly... charge up the entire sheet of plastic with an electrostatic charge... then supply a single discharge point and the voltage will etch through the plastic leaving the pattern. If so... that would look really nice with side-light from some blue and/or yellow LEDs. Particle accelerator... that part might be tricky. Very nice.

Now just think. you could set off charges at slightly different moments in a pattern that would cause the formations to interfere with each other symmetrically. Then... You would have the coolest windows in town!

This got nothing to do with Tesla, Georg Chistoph Lichtenberg was a German Physicist, the first to develope a pratical device that produces high voltage via electrostatic induction. We're talking about the 18th Century here, not the 19th. Lichtenbergs Electrophorus produces these discharge patterns in thin layers of dust. With modern technology they can be created in plastic.....

Lightning is nothing more than electrons. Electrons have a "negative" charge, and like particles repel each other. Thats why they never cross each other, they try to get as far away as possible from each other.

So do you think the width between the main branches to the smaller branches is the golden ratio of PHI (1.618)? Also, because water can store energy ( Check out Lord kelen water inducer) is that why it makes thoughs same patterns when it flows? Great use of a partical accelerator and major prop's on the homage to Tesla.

is this properly referred to as dendritic? I think not! I think it's just basic electrostatic repulsion. i.e. charges maximizing their respective spacing in the presence of an applied field. Correct me if I'm wrong. I know lightning demonstrates fractal morphology - I'm not convinced this is 'mini-lightning'.

The Fabinucci mathematical sequence is everywhere in nature and is mistaken by "creationists" as a sign of "God's intelligent design" because Nature DOES have order which 'IS' fractal in it's symmetry.
