The saddest thing is seeing these guys who were your heroes and they are financially at the lower end of the scale. You think to yourself they deserve so much more.

12 to 16 hours is easy to do when your working on something you love to do; it is never enough time in one day. I've read many of the comments, and many people not all... only see that he does not have lots of money. If your comfortable doing what you love and able to meet your responsibilities then you have achieved your goal. I find this little documentary inspirational, I think he reached his 10,000 hours to mastery.

Love to see him draw up a suppose battle between his; 'Utopian' from Jupiter's Legacy Vs Alan Moore's version of; "Supreme"! I don't know, somehow i just picture those two duking it out cos of how dynamically they're drawn up as various Superman styled archetypes.

I planned for my life to be a comic artist, I failed, watching him it makes me feel frustrated Lol
@numbuh537 жыл бұрын
the difference between you and him is that when it got excruciatingly tough he had the willpower to pull through and you didn't. the comics industry isn't for everyone.

***** i'm also going under assumptions but i'm pretty sure maulsoleu meant 'comic artist' as in a professional comic artist working in the industry. sure, if you like to draw your little 4-panel doodles then technically you've drawn a comic. pretty sure that's not what maulsoleu was talking about. there are different levels of passion for this kind of thing. if you really truly love it and will dedicate time and grueling hard work into it like frank quitely, you'll be on his level.
