I can just picture an announcer voice saying “Naroditsky down to the wire with 2 seconds left, can he do it?!?” 🤣🤣 Danya’s like “I could’ve played this entire game in the remaining 2.3 seconds if I didnt have to stop and explain everything to you mouth breathers” 🤣🤣
@fredgandolfi2356

"Plenty of time... TWO SECONDS IS LIKE AN ETERNITY" is an astonishing display of mastery. Because he actually means it. His voice does not change while explaining and wrapping up the game. He stays Zen. He may as well be noting a grocery shopping list. Ftlog. Sensei is on a different plane.

I am still dumbfounded by Danya’s humility, like he is really genuinely surprised and pleased when the computer supports his moves, and also he is genuinely open to being shown all the putative inaccuracies. The content is great but I think that is truly a great lesson in chess psychology

I mean computers are WAY better than humans at chess, I wouldn't really call it humility.
@trequor
@trequor Жыл бұрын
@@dominater5 Yeah but good players can find the best move for most moves in games at this level. Man vs Machine is a knockout, but in a game with a GM versus a high level amateur the GM should be making mostly engine moves most of the time. I'm a lowly 1000 elo and I can play above 90% accuracy against lesser players (i.e. my relatives when they wanted to play)

Watching Danya be mister "wow this player is severly underrated" after opening with e4 and Danya going into actual demon mode to blitz out 5000 moves in 0.04 seconds is such a fucking treat. 13:11 should have moved the Black King to f8 instead of moving Pg7. That would have prevented the rook capture sequence or winning both rooks, plus it would also open up for Black Ng4 forking White's Rook and Queen.

Bxe3, Nxg7, Kf8 if you take the bishop back with xe3 black will play Kxg7. In this situation you'll be down a bishop and a knight for a bishop and pawn. If instead you retreat you're knight let say back to f5 then black will treat his bishop and you'll be down a knight for a pawn. In both situations you are down a minor piece, that's what he's saying.
