This hotel needs no explanation. These might be the most prominent elevators of all time. Every elevator enthusiast has either ridden or known about these elevators. I have dreamed about going to this hotel and riding the elevators and now I have achieved it and it was a great experience.
These elevators run very nicely, but can be glitchy. I was extremely lucky to go to the restaurant, which was closed, and the offices on the "55th floor," realistically the 49th floor.
This is the 2nd video of the 300 subscribers, Holidays, and New Year's special series.

Now they replaced them with touchscreens, which means that the wheelchair/handicap voice assistant is currently inoperable meaning that it’s no longer available for all guests

I was taking a look at the 2022 version of the New York Marriott, and it was in a modern refurbishment meaning that the refurbishment is complete and they no longer use the shimilermyconic 10 keypads anymore they got rid of them

These elevators are gone for sure. There are PortOS panels on every floor and European Miconic 10 keypads on the street level.

GucciPowerGrizzlyBearDopeAF I don’t think they started the modernization yet. The only evidence of modernization I’ve seen was some strange panels seen next to cars F and G on the 9th floor. Secret floors are still accessible, however, “55” is no longer the code for 49 as it has been changed recently. But who needs codes when you got keys!

I’ve stayed in this hotel three times. I just recently stayed here for 3 nights this December, but unfortunately, I did not go to any of the "secret" floors there, because they are staff-only floors and I did not want to be busted.
