2.3 Turbo Ford Ranger Build Update #2

Got a set of rims and tires for it, pulled the dash and all that goes with it out and started fabricating my ignition coil mount. once those are mounted I can Begin wiring everything up to the Fuel Tech 450 ECU. Lookin pretty good, can't wait to see some burnouts! I wish I had that much room under the hood and bed, I don't even have room for tailpipes!

Thank you! I'm doing my best. I'd have so much more done if I wasn't so lazy. Lol I ripped everything out to give me the room I need. And tailpipes are overrated! 😂

@@Hoppysjunkyardrally Tailpipes are nice for the daily when you have headers and twice the displacement. The exhaust droning under the bed can put you to sleep on a long drive.

What turbo?stock internals?

It's a 87 N/A mustang 2.3 with all stock internals and head (until this year) with a XSPower turbo kit. 62mm journal bearing turbo (comes with the kit), turbo smart 38mm wastegate, XSPower bov, Deka 88# injectors, 355lph frame mount fuel pump, Bellinger smart coils, 93 ranger dummy distributor, Pyro Pete 36-1 missing tooth trigger wheel, 91 escort vr crank sensor, ported and gutted intake. -8 ptfe fuel hose, cheap fpr, stinger fuel rail and run off a Fuel Tech 450 ecu. And the stock ranger 5 speed transmission. Upgrades being done now.. Bo Port stage 3 head w/2.5 cam. Adjustable cam gear from Bo, cp pistons and rods, stage 3 ported lower intake and custom upper with a 80mm drive by wire throttle body out of a 2017 mustang gt, stainless 4-1 Bo Port header w/ 44mm tial wastegate and I went with a built C4 with a transbrake and switched to OBR Control systems euro 4 for engine management (ecu). It's coming along slowly. Waiting on rods to come back in stock.. I'll have a engine dyno video coming later this summer when it's all together... again.. lol Thanks for watching check out some of my other video's of it running and a couple races I lost.. haha
