Just did some pulls with the new exhaust on, incredibly happy with how it sounds! Exhaust sound was recorded with a simple microphone on the rear bumper. The exhaust valve was open of course!

Question... Did the acceleration feel the same when you had the original exhaust on the car before you did the custom exhaust?? I have a v5 bora and i want an exhaust done for it but i am scared that its not gonna feel the same. And what was the price for the exhaust to be done?

The acceleration will feel the same after installing an exhaust. So you'd just be doing it for the sound, which was more than worth it for me! hahahh I designed and made the exhaust myself, but was still quite expensive with the electronic valve and race cat (I think it was close to ~€1000)

Waar heb je deze uitlaat laten maken? En heb je geen last van een dreun als je een continue snelheid op de snelweg rijdt?

Wouter De uitlaat heb ik volledig zelf gebouwd. Nee geen last van een dreun, de demper met klep filtert ook bij open klep de irritante dreun eruit. Dus zelfs met klep open op snelweg bij 3/4k toeren is het zeer goed te doen!

Welke einddemper heb je gebruikt als ik vragen mag. Ben namelijk mijn v5 helemaal aan het opbouwen. Zodat ik meer vermogen heb en Zoek een beetje een sportieve uit last.

Heb een speciale einddemper voor kleppensystemen gebruikt, waarbij de ene uitgang gedempt is en de andere niet. Kijk maar is op rvsuitlaatdelen.nl daar heb ik vrijwel alles vandaan!

waar heb je die uitlaat klep uit eindelijk gehaald en waar heb je hem tussen gezet ?

Alex Marsmans de klep komt van rvsuitlaatdelen.nl vandaan en hij zit helemaal achteraan bij een grotere demper. Op hun site staat een ‘kleppendemper’, die heb ik gebruikt daarvoor

@@thomasd3261 klinkt wel echt lekker! Ik heb ooit een zelfde auto gehad. Alleen had motorstoring waardoor hij soms op 4 cilinders liep, heb hem toen weg gedaan om die reden. Eeuwig sonde HAHA

It is VR5 AQN engine from Volkswagen. Ou can find it in Volkswagen ~1986-2006

Hello, how did you managed to resolve the Lambda sensor Error from the cat? I want to change the cat with 200 cpi but I understood that It affects the measures for the lambda, thanks

On the golf 4 the lambda just wants to see a certain value for the AFR, i do not know if it will runn a little leaner or richer, but it will not hurt the engine if you do it, and it should not give any codes. (if so just disconnect and reconnect the battery, all the codes should clear and if it thinks there are no problems they will not pop back up)

Heel dik man! Ik heb ook een v5 met custom catback en kleppendemper, alleen dan zonder middendemper. Ik heb nog de originele cat maar wil een 200cell cat. Ik vroeg me af of jij een motor storings lampje kreeg door die 100 cell?

@@thomasd3261 Oke beter! Dan ga ik dr ook maar 1 monteren, kreeg jij al een beetje pops and bangs na het monteren van de sportcat of heb je dat nog met ECU tuning moeten doen?

@@loca4159 Ik hoopte destijds van wel, maar helaas vrijwel niks. Daar hebben deze motoren echt een Ecu tune voor nodig. Ik heb bij Unlimited Tuning toen pops and bangs naar mijn smaak laten zetten.

Ok, ja vroeg het voor een vriend, hij heeft ook een v5 met catback rvs, en die maakt al zo'n 110db haha. Deze lijkt me nog een stukje harder te klinken :) Vette sound!
