Okay, this might be unpopular, but after hearing HLP express her love for ELF Active Lip and Cheek's "lipstick-y" feel so many times, I feel compelled to publicly share that I have used lipstick as blush for at least 15 years. It started by blotting my lips with my fingers and then tapping and blending the transferred lipstick to my cheeks, but now I will straight up apply a bullet lipstick to my cheeks and blend it out with fingers or a brush. Sometimes, I intentionally apply a lot right on top of my priming layer of makeup and follow up with some concealer and setting powder to tone it back down. Other times, I apply a small amount on top of foundation. I would love to see Hannah play with actual lipstick on her cheeks!

I don’t like drugstore eyeshadow but I have found the cheek and face stuff is as good if not better than some of my expensive items. Lips can be hit or miss bc I can’t get why they insist on scenting the stuff so much

I’ve been watching all the compilations just to spend time w Hannah, but at last the one I really wanted to see!!!! It is a goal of mine to try all the HLP drugstore lipsticks (in time, not all at once). I was so pleased to hear you mention Revlon Rum Raisin and Loreal Glass Shine because I have and love both :) I know this isn’t the actual video where you asked us to list grungy drugstore lippies, but loreal glass shine in the shade glistening purple sounds so weird but on the lips it’s sheer mauve greige bliss. Have a bad feeling they’ll be discontinued soon :(

Glossier has a very natural brown mascara, I use it all the time & get compliments on how long my eyelashes look (even though my eyelashes are naturally nonexistent blonde)

I'd love to know what makeup products you'd recommend to a person who wears no makeup at all. What affordable, user-friendly, wearable, light-looking products that don't require an expert hand at application but can be great to have for a special occasion without looking too strong or striking for a person whose face is typically bare. Also please take it as a major compliment that I love to watch your videos and somehow stumbled upon them even though I don't play with makeup at all these days and just focus on skincare. You are articulate, relaxing to listen to, and it's been fascinating to see your work and opinions develop over time in these compilations.

For gray mauve lipstick, Bite Beauty used to make a lipstick color called Cava. A good dupe I have is Nars lipstick in Pour Toujours (less gray but definitely not "warm" in my batch). I have both of the above lipsticks and I use them to tone down shades that are too orange or pink. Nars has a shade called Damage (sheer muted grape) you might be interested in when it comes back in stock. Also Nars Orgasm lipstick is a good match to your Wet n Wild Apricot blush in a sense that it is sheer yellow orange with gold glitter. 😊
