She is such an intense and passionate Natasha. Both Denee and Pippa are wonderful but I feel like Denee softens it and makes it more a dreamy song and Pippa makes it feel like strong passionate happiness. That's what makes both versions so unique. Both Pippa and Denee are amazing singers. There's no need to compare. Their versions are unique and gorgeous.
@sarahalbright53075 жыл бұрын
Alba I know right it’s so hard to compare both versions because they’re both wonderful and both singers took a different take on it and the way they acted it out is different like with Pippa she saw it as intense happiness and is very passionate but Denee is Kinda it’s soft and very dreamy

it's because of the narrowing of the aryepiglottic sphincter, that she's doing. it gives her ring and boosts the frequency of her voice. it's a "mic" for her voice. it's what's used to sound like a "rock belt"
@hannahhelms22337 жыл бұрын
It's a really hard note too for some reason. It feels really high. I'm actually surprised it's just an E. I thought it was at least an F, maybe a G by the way it felt.

NATASHA The moon - First time I heard your voice Moonlight burst into the room And I saw your eyes And I saw your smile And the world opened wide And the world was inside of me And I catch my breath And I laugh and blush And I hear guitars You are so good for me I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you Oh the moon Oh the snow in the moonlight And your childlike eyes And your distant smile I'll never be this happy again You and I And no one else We've done this all before We were angels once Don't you remember? Joy and life Inside our souls And nobody knows Just you and me It's our secret This winter sky How can anyone sleep? There was never such a night before! I feel like putting my arms round my knees And squeezing tight as possible And flying away Like this... Oh the moon Oh the snow in the moonlight And your childlike eyes And your distant smile I'll never be this happy again You and I You and I You and I And no one else Maybe he'll come today Maybe he came already And he's sitting in the drawing room And I simply forgot

I commented on this video four years ago after absolutely falling in love with it, as probably most of you did. Maybe some of you can relate also to the path it led me on: after watching it, I listened to all of NP&TGC. A couple years later, I read War and Peace. After that, I read a bunch of Tolstoy's short stories and Anna Karenina (a somewhat bleak quarantine read...) All of this influenced my growth as a writer and thinker, and also, simply, as a person. The most fun thing, though, was to learn No One Else. I'm a classical singer, and for a while, this was my "show piece". And now, four years later, I learned to sing it and accompany myself on the piano, which feels like an absolute gift. and it is on my baby channel, because of course it is. :D
