I’ve never been to an audio show before, but I’m curious about the music selection. It all seems to be stripped down instrumental and/or vocal driven tracks. Is there a reason they don’t mix it up a bit? Is it as simple as these types of tracks sound the best, or is this what people who buy high end equipment listen to? Do they let you throw on your own stuff if you want to?

Some dudes were playing Metallica and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Couple peeps playing some hip hop. Some absolutely stupid sound choices for sure. What was with that I like chick’n pie song about? People are so detached.

@@ThatHomeTheaterDude Yea, from my limited experience I find that some speakers can have a tendency to sound good with certain music but not as good with others. That’s subjective of course, but at a minimum I’d want to hear stuff that I’m familiar with to use as a reference. Even if I’m just dream shopping I’d still want to experience it.

Good catch. I ran out of battery on the b camera. The vivid ads were the red ones at the beginning. I have the footage saves for a later video in high res audio 96k/32bits

I’d love to know how much the speakers at 10 minutes cost. Bet they’re 10-15k msrp while using scanspeak drivers and tweeters. What a joke

beyond 10,000 bucks. the great sound for money vanishes rapidly. i think making great sounding speakers for cheap is the real feat of engineering rather then making 50k+ speakers and saying they sound great. well they should, they cost 50,000 dollars…. 🤦🏻🤦🏻

at a certain € point you are no longer a music lover but a crazy human spending too much money on equipment... been there, done that. stop spending it on equipment and buy more music 😉

Stopped going to UK Shows in 2012 as all they play is bland, plodding Jazz and bloody Diana Krall ........ yawn, yawn ..... this music sounds OK on anything and is no test of a proper high quality system. Most normal people do NOT listen to this type of elevator muZAK ? Chris UK
