The column height should be reduced by the beam depth to consider. The column length commonly defined from the 'undisturbed' length of column without the beam depth.

Eurocode2 states, "k = (θ/M).(EI/l)". But you have only used "k=I/l" why is that? What is the reason for over simplification? I understand you may have removed the "E" because both having same "E", but I don't understand the reason to remove "θ" from the equation. Please let me know how to calculate "θ" I'm trying to do a proper calculation. Imagine the concrete column is restrained with steel beams from the top. So you have to calculate "θ" as well don't you?

Theoretically, k1 and k2 not necessarily the same. Need to calculate based on the formula. In this example they are the same as the beams connected to the top part and bottom part of the column are the same.
