John is RIGHT.. math is multiple learned blocks of knowledge. You MUST (re)learn early blocks befor progressing. Sometimes it's just review.

I had no problem with the LCD but I thought I had to simplify the solution. So my question would be why the answer did not need to be reduced?

Is there no merit to putting that polynomial (4+7X^2) in normal form (i.e. with the highest exponent first?) Also, unless the order of the terms affects the sum (which I highly doubt, at least in Euclidian mathematics), you should be able to apply the bowtie method iwith any denominator first. 7X^2 + 4 is basically the same as 4 + 7X^2 Provide a counter-example to prove me wrong.

It takes 14 minutes to introduce himself, his products, make some small talk, stir your memory a little, and teach you some mechanics of why, all required steps and the order in which they are performed, actually apply and why and how they work. I love this guys approach to teaching! I’m no whiz, whatsoever, but his videos have given me a greater understanding of just how the Maths, actually work. What was the purpose of your comment?
