in pvp worlds a skull just means that you will lose all your items on death, as opposed to keeping 3. since im risking gp it doesnt matter here, the coinstack will get dropped regardless of skulled or not. good luck :D

yooo thx :) ok ill try to answer these questions right here and i do plan on making an advanced guide at one point. seems like many of you are requesting it. i could do 1 on 1 coaching for a ridicilously high price heheh (in-game currency) 3a) yeah there is a reason why i followed at 4:11 and did a step-in into 1tick 2h at 8:00. so at 8:00 i had to step in, in order to 1tick my 2h. if i didnt step in, i would be running at him with my 2h from 4 tiles away which makes it easy for him to react. notice though that i wait a bit before stepping in (i couldve stepped in earlier), i did that to give him less time to react. and of course i 1tick my 2h to make him unable to react to that. a good pker wouldve eaten once they saw their hp at fatal health and me stepping in. at 4:11 it was a different scenario, because he couldnt have eaten at my 2h anyway, since he had already just eaten before. so his only move was to try and run away from my 2h which i counter by following. i could have also just chased him with my 2h out with the same effect. there would be no point in hiding or 1ticking my 2h since he cant eat anyway. 4) at 5:26 nothing special happened. even though it was hid pid, my 2h was supposed to hit him first regardless. look at when i fire my last arrow compared to him. at 0:25 i really did manipulate pid priority, i explain that in another comment somewhere here on this vid. its quite advanced. i dont recommend trying it yourself 5) 3:36 i didnt really stop my movement, it just looks that way. the enemy ran right toward me and his movement processes before mine since he had pid priority there. so it was coincidence that my character didnt move at all 6) ill think about doing something like that :)

Why did you choose to fire another arrow before going in? Was it player dependent, as in at @4:11 the opponent tends to eat at only very low healths? @3:36, did your 2h hit first because your arrow fired first? Did you eating give you one tick of speed on his arrow and 2h combo? Because prior to that, he had PID. @5:26, thank you! Dumb as it may sound, it did not occur to me that arrows could be fired at different ticks. I had assumed all arrow shots fired at every set 4 ticks lol. I was planning to learn sliding to reduce predictability (being able to 2h from a farther range), but thought differently after reading your description. @@bluegodofspeed @ 04:11 the opponent should have eaten after being hit 11, he didnt, "runescaper" notices this, realises that after he hits the 8 the guy can only heal 14 hp(not enough to take him above runescapers max hit). So this guy is left with a maximum of approx 24-25hp, meaning even a small hit with arrow means he can ko with 2h, as the guy doesn't have time to eat 2nd food. @ 03:36 is a very high risk manouver, "runescaper" chooses not to eat, and instead instant-2h the oponent, knowing that if he hits anything less than 27, he'll be dead(unlses oponent also fails to hit a 25). you'll notice he doesnt actually eat the swordfish until he's already ko'd the oponent. Slides doesn't help in risk fighting - unless the person you're fighting has no idea how to look @ their hp orb. @0:22, I could be wrong here, but IMO, the oponent just click his 2h then clicks "runescaper", if he had clicked the floor near "runescaper" either before or after clicking his 2h, and then clicked "runescaper", he would have landed first. "runescaper" has already explained that the backstep he did meant he delayed the oponents hit, i'm not sure if this would have worked had the opponent "followed" him, I could be wrong, and happy to be proven so.

​@@bluegodofspeed @4:11/8:00 no it wouldnt be same outcome cause i wouldnt have been able to reach him with my 2h had i not stepped in immediately. and yeah i knew this guy at 4:11 would eat if i did the same as i do in 8:00. player dependant and situation dependant (look at my arrow xp drop compared to the other situation) @3:36 it still was his pid as he died. he just couldnt hit me yet. he would have hit me on the next tick after he died. having pid only gives you priority within a certain tick. so if we both attacked at the same tick, his hit would go first. but here i hit him a tick before he could even hit me. re: does sliding help in fights? no. the disadvantages outweigh the benefits imo. it makes you more prone to errors and distracts you more than it actually gives you an advantage. keep it simple with 1-ticking, occasionally backstepping, and doing regular step ins. gratz on graduating!

ill try my best and i am also planning on making a guide on advanced mechanics like this! ok so first i predict his 2h so i maintain a 3 tile gap, his 2h cant reach me. in a 3 tile gap situation where both are running at each other with a melee weapon, the person who is OFF-PID (me) gets the first hit. why? think of it as a turn-based fight, where the on-pid guy gets the first turn every tick. and every tick a player can only move 2 tiles. tick x, turn 1: pid-person gets the first move. he tries to attack so he runs 2 tiles closer to me but cant reach me. tick x, turn 2: off-pid person gets the next move. on-pid person is only 1 tile apart, he is in reach of my 2h. so my 2h hits him

@@runescapersownu In risk fights, if I eat at 31hp they start bitching and calling me safer and tell me to “risk hp”. Like you said, safing is eating ABOVE their max hit (32hp+)and in risk fights, it’s more about generating chances. Not “risking hp” by staying at 29hp and letting them chance you like most people expect you to do. You can ofc if you’re going in for those scims, but people need to understand ticks first in order to know when to be able to do it. I appreciate what you do for the f2p community! I’d like to see more advanced mechanics. Ex; why do you sometimes follow people? Does it let you stack from 3 tiles away? Or is it for better camera control? Why do you click on the tile under you in melee fights? Does it reset ticks in order to double swordfish? Is it possible to stack arrow hitsplats? Range to melee shows a stack but I wonder if you can stack arrows by movement. Is it possible to utilize the back step technique to get a free hit in? For example, let’s say you’re two tiles away (in the range for melee stack) and your opponent arrows you and you can predict they’re going in for the 2h. If you step 1 tile back, that means they must travel 3 tiles to hit you (ruining their hitsplat stack) but if you step right back in immediately(same tile), both you and your opponent should be a DD(deathdot) for a split second (since they travel 2 tiles in 1 tick) and give you enough time to hit them back first. Or am I completely wrong and it won’t ever happen like this? Anyways I’m so interested in more advanced techniques!
