@@Shreya-co4mh nope! been using it for about a year now and only saw positive results. makes my hair super soft and pretty smooth. one thing thats not mentioned in the product's description is that it seems to be heat activated, like if u directly put it on dry hair it wont look as good and wont be very effective as putting it on damp hair and then styling it with a dryer or putting it on dry hair and using a straightener/curler. speaking from just personal experience though.
