My concerns are the lack of privacy, it's like the lord of the manor is always looking down at you, seeing when you come and go, who you bring to the house, etc. They might be the best landlord but I would want more privacy

Exactly, no privacy at all. Should have fence , shrub between home. Trees for shade.

the apartment is big enough for me and i would be in the pool everyday drinking beers and enjoying the mountain breeze. the beach view for a meal is priceless

The home is small but well presented. Not sure I'd be happy being so close to the landlords place. Sharing a pool is ok but what if you wish to entertain guests for an afternoon? Some outside space would help, having outside garden furnitire etc, would increase the space. Thanks for sharing, informative.

This is the Dumaguete area….there are more foreigners here(specifically Americans) PER CAPITA than any city in the Philippines. You have to pay to live here. You want 12K…go to Mindanao unless you don’t mind NO AC, or hot water

Thanks for watching! Yeah, but you have to live in Angeles which is the armpit of the Philippines….who wants to do that? I hate Manila and Angeles City. Manila is an overcrowded polluted city……and Angeles City🙄. Move to Tijuana or NOLA for Bourbon St. If you’re a single guy looking for hookers…go to Angeles 😉

Food and atmosphere are GREAT! Service is VERY POOR….like Ground Zero shitty service. Honestly, this was the first time I didn’t tip after a meal in the Philippines. I would LOVE to meet the owner. We won’t go back because of the service, and my guess is MANY people won’t. It would take 5 minutes of training to make this a fantastic restaurant…..BUT, it’s going to be subpar until then

I cannot believe a Louisiana boy left all of that Curry gravy in the bowl and the rice in the other bowl looked untouched.. put that Rice into that gravy and mix it up and yummy yummy yummy.. are you sure you are a south🐊 Louisiana boy Kevin? Hehe

Japanese curry 🍛 is much different than Indian curry as you have found out. Pork Katsu is famous and always a good bet!

We won’t be back because the service was SO bad. Food and location was GREAT! But, it was the worst service I have had in the Philippines….terrible service

For me, it’s best to rent and invest that 8 MIL PHP. If done right, you will MORE than pay for your rent and don’t have any “land issues”

I always love yours and Jenna Lynn's rental videos and restaurant reviews.. can't take everything painted white in that house and that place looks like Angola prison with the walls.. I have a two-bedroom two-bath house in a subdivision with a pool and I am paying$200 a month in Talisay cebu.. the house also has a front porch a back porch with a outside kitchen add a covered place to park my car.. I wish you would always show what is outside the back door and also where to park a vehicle when you do the rentals.. I always read the comments before I watch the video and I always watch the video twice because I like them so much..Jenna Lynn is beautiful eye candy and that makes the reruns a lot better..hehe👙😁😎🤗🍺🍻🐊

35K???? That's about double what it is worth and that would be with all utilities. I would get claustrophobia. My apartment in Bacong is 3 times the size 50 meters to the beach and has a generator for brownouts and I pay 22k. Do you guys work for Alma? She is the one that found my apartment.

I guess Dumaguete is saturated with foreignors, so the sky has become the limit. That's a joke for a province who lacks high-tech hospitalization and paramedic ambulatory services. Especially in these outlying areas.

Philippines is getting ridiculous with the prices. !! Foreigners are jacking up the prices along with Filipinos just gouging the hell out of us too. Not a deal at all. I’ve switched to Cambodia. 🇰🇭

That’s definitely true, especially here in the Dumaguete area. Don’t know for a fact, but I would say we have more foreigners(especially Americans) PER CAPITA than any other city….including Manila and Cebu

It’s nice it’s a bit small for me I understand that’s the norm for the Philippines. For 35 k I would hope for more space and privacy. But everyone has different needs or wants.
