Yeah, something did go wrong after the new millenium. I'm not saying this out of nostalgia, because I don't even want to be nostalgic, it's just that the entire world kinda lost its charm after 2000. I don't know exactly why, but maybe because of all the wars and terror attacks that started happening all of a sudden. -.-

guess everybody lost something in the name of freedom. Caus everyone has made up a shield after 9/11. Be aware for bad stuff. And everything and everyone is doing things that are sure for succes. like beyonce and such, they USED to make good music but look at them now. they make singles that are hits for 1 or 2 months and they are forgotten. maby caus they suck also but the 90's and the music before the 90's were awsome

Wars and terror attacks are from every time span. I personally think it's technology itself that created the cold world we are in today. Mobile phones make people less social. Abundance of computer power makes artists less creative. Living rooms painted all white. How sterile can it be. I think this all reflects back on the music, artists think they are modern, and their music maybe modern, but it does not have any spirit our soul. The message is hardly positive and the melodies are lame.
