I really enjoyed this teaching. In this, I have learned to 1. ALWAYS remain dependent on God for everything and not just on my capabilities. 2. Don't take the past graces of God for granted (just because He came through in a past issue, doesn't mean I just assume for the next) 3. God is merciful and honors humility.

Yes, very good teacher. You do not talk too fast or slow. You help put complicated things into simple terms. And you do not talk to us like you do not have the same problems or issues. Thank you Pastor Paul. I used this video today to help me understand the story of King Asa.

I pray that all of us will seek the Lord in All things at ALL times. Our God delivers by His own power: numbers mean nothing to Him. No matter the odds against us God gives us victory.... When we call on Him for help.

I’m very grateful to God for these videos on KZfaq. I don’t remember when I started studying with you, but it has opened up areas I was in the dark about, and I’ve begun to attend our local CC

I have always been saddened by this story. Why did Asa fall away from the one who had been so faithful to him all his life? And Asa had been Faithful to God in the earlier years of his reign? I was thinking maybe he had dementia!!! Wow…what a sad ending, but sobering lesion-trust God, look to him as your protector and strong tower! Stay humble, meek and trust and obey God!!

Thanks Pastor Paul. So Asa relies on God in defeating the Ethiopians and their million man army (I imagine God causing all of them to drop dead by stopping their heartbeats), but then turns away from Him and relies on the king of Syria instead to battle Baasha and the northern kingdom. And then he didn't seek God when he got the foot disease. What happened to Asa that He would turn away from God?

Hello, how do I know the difference in waiting for the Lord versus being lazy?
@heatherwilliams42832 жыл бұрын
Pray! Ask God and seek Him! He’ll give you the next steps to take. Waiting on God is not a passive act, it’s active. You’re talking with Him, reading His word, and waiting for Him to speak.
