I sometimes help with crossing guard duties on Independence Ave and St John Ave and around KCMO. What you're saying about used syringes, and high crime statistics is accurate. Those are neighborhoods here you can't just waltz around in unless you really have a reason to be there. Just like 31st and Prospect. 39th and Main, Westport. This incident happened from across the middle school. No regard for human life.

I found a bag of meth on the Ave 30 yrs ago. But that was in the middle of the day😂 it's the truth. I was already on one, it's just the truth. No one from kc should get offended at what he's saying. I had to throw trash all up and down independence Ave and the rest of northeast including parks and I found plenty of syringes walking around the park specifically😮

Space is correct. I’ll never forget getting into it with this dude downtown when I moved here over whether or not I said excuse me when pushing the button for the elevator. Crazy ass dude lost it, “if I had I blick on me I’d shoot your ass” Me: “I bet you would have” (elevator doors close) That was just in the middle of the day at the grocery store downtown. It was definitely a wake up call we ain’t in CansAss no more.
