Just bought a Kodiak 700 today and I was thoroughly impressed. Super fun to ride

I have a 21 kodiak. Thing is a tank works around the house, plows, and rough trail rides. Beautiful machine.

I think you’ve made the best choice possible. After doing weeks of research and originally wanting a Polaris. I came to the conclusion that the Grizzly is the #1 choice. It’s a beautiful and dependable ATV. Enjoy!

They are a great bike. The way you ride I recommended the factory heavy duty front bumper . It protects real good and looks good also. My riding friend has it and he's buldozing trees regularly and it's stood up great

I can't wait to see the videos of the two compared. Your straight-up review thoughts on the machines are very refreshing.

Yes. I’m going to wait until I get some time and miles on the grizzly. I want to get used to it before I make to many assumptions
@PondstompingAdventures4 ай бұрын
@JacobOverman absolutely. Totally understand, that you must break it in properly and get the miles in before making any fair contrasts between the two. Keep up the great work. 👍

Does it run hot? I have noticed some comments from Yamaha owners that these quads run hot and even overheat.
@JacobOverman4 ай бұрын
@@chadweaver251doesn’t over heat. I think most people are referring to how hot it gets on your legs. I haven’t noticed it yet but it’s also not summer time.

Just got a 24 xtr first thing I did was rox risers and bars, didn't know if I liked them at first but after 50 miles or so they are a great improvement over stock.

I love the look of the new grizzlies !! But I’m not big on the tires that they put on yours !! I would change them to more of a trail tire

I was never a honda dude but I'm sure they are some of the best things out there.

If you want the most reliable, then you go with Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki. Yamaha and Suzuki have the best ATV’s… Honda is the most reliable but they’re a little outdated

Looking at a Grizzly, and I’m also coming from a Honda. I bought my Rancher new in 2009, and it’s been great minus one problem with the electronic shift. I’ve used that Rancher for everything, working in the yard to planting a dove field. The only reason I want to switch is that I need more power. I’ve had it narrowed down to a Kawasaki and Yamaha, but I’m going to go with the Yamaha. I agree with you about the seat however, that needs a latch.
@JacobOverman3 ай бұрын
I would say out of those two definitely get the Yamaha. If the can am 700 is reliable it might be the next best thing. For a few thousand cheaper it comes with a lot more extras and options. Of coarse it doesn’t have the Yamaha reputation yet.
@68fmj513 ай бұрын
@@JacobOverman I’ve ridden a Can Am a couple times, but can’t remember what size it was. Over 500, that much I do remember. I also remember that I hated it. Rode rough as a buckboard. Just like my father-in-law’s Kubota SXS. Absolutely hate that thing.

I have owned a Grizzly Kodiak they're pretty good bikes but to say they're number one not a chance you haven't driven a real bike until you've driven the Suzuki King Quad I bought myself to 750 King Quad I'll have to say is wow put the grizzly to shame in every category reliability durability it's much faster way better handling a better maneuverability much more sporty much more fun to ride and much more power have you ever buy a Suzuki King Quad 750 trust me you'll never buy anything else!!!!!!
@JacobOverman2 ай бұрын
I have personally never like the king quads. I know they are good machine but not a fan of the way they look or the lack of dealers around me
@truthnow9022 ай бұрын
@@JacobOverman actually I don't mind the way the new ones look the old ones I find look a little ugly have you ever driven a 750 King Quad these bikes are totally amazing put the grizzly the shame in every way even the Honda and I like Honda best quad on the market the king quads are just way underrated a very very reliable more reliable than yenny Yamaha just as reliable as a Honda have a good one
@JamesBond-ps4pw4 ай бұрын
You seem fairly critical of things I don’t worry much about, but l’m sure you’ll be impressed nonetheless. The Grizzly is an excellent quad. It has the reliability similar to Honda, but with much better performance for spirited riding. Enjoy!

Yes. I’m just harsh because I have very high expectations for everything. I’m giving it time before I make a Honda vs Yamaha video. The Yamaha is definitely growing on me the more I ride it
