I don’t like very light concealers either for the same reason, the darkness Is more pronounced. This concealer looks beautiful on you 💕

Quick question! So I have the same concealers I purchased last week, but when I wear it it makes my eyes burn or tear up. I love it so much I just keep putting it on, but do you ever get that feeling of slight burning sensation then like wet eyes ? By the way your skin is to die for 😮😮😮😮

You said powder should always help the situation and never hurt it. Every powder I have ever used hurts my undereye situation just some seem to hurt it more than others😅. I always look 5 to 10 years older and soo dry as soon as I set with powder under my eyes. Am I doing something wrong or are my expectations of powder smoothing my undereyes too high? Love your reviews

Hey girl! Hope I can help, I struggled forevvver too! Watching all the makeup girlies made it worse for me , because I would do it the way they did & it never worked out. What I figured out was, the concealer and setting powder shade and undertone are key! Rarely talked about, but so important. Setting powder always jacked up my look, because I am a cool w/ pink undertone, and I am a black woman. I am used to seeing banana powders, golden, peachy and thoguht I should too lol I was definitely wrong. Next, I had to figure out that for a dry skin girly less powder is more. Also, the tool used makes a difference in how much and how the powder absorbs your limited moisture under your eyes. I swiched from a puff, to a brush, like the sephore brush #79, to pick up the powder, push and sweep it away immmediately. This allowed me to control the amount of powder and not over set/bake my dry under eye. Game changer! Now I get the look i want w/o the struggle! Hope this helps & good luck!

@oceanbelow thank you so much! That does make sense. I have never found a good shade match because I'm super fair but with warmer undertones and most of the fair shades are cool /too pink. Also my undereyes are a little lighter than my face so that doesn't help either. I have found I can't do the 2 shades lighter concealer thing because it accentuates fine lines. I will definitely switch to a brush for powder. I am using a powder puff and before that was using a damp sponge. Do you think it makes a difference if I use loose or pressed powder?
