While in the city we visited the Royal Palace of Madrid, Botin (the oldest restaurant in the world), Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, and more!

Wow Spain has many beautiful sights. I enjoyed seeing the churches. You both did a ton of walking and got a lot of exercise with those hills. The chocolate dipped churros looked amazing. I went to Spain many years ago and stayed in Majorca. It was so hilly there that people were training for the iron man triathlon on their bicycles. Beautiful country!

Haha yeah those hills were killer, not as bad as Portugal but definitely gets your heart going! If I make it back to Spain I'd love to check out Majorca and Grenada.
