I’m travelling solo to Bali later on in the year, and you’re giving me the confidence to do it ☺️ keep doing what you’re doing, you’re amazing and you’re giving other solo travellers (especially females) the confidence to get out there and travel for themselves ❤

For far too long, we have all compared our worst behind the scenes footage to the highlight reels of others that we see on social media. We somehow feel like we are a mess when everyone else has it all together, but in reality that is far from the truth. It is refreshing to see someone with a platform share that they aren't always OK. And that is OK. Mahalo for being authentic and being willing to share your struggles. That matters.

Good on you for living your best life and doing what you do. It takes courage, it's young people like yourself that have given me the drive to move to live in Bali within 5-7 year's. I'm 53 but better late than never x

Absolutely amazing how down to Earth you are. You be you. Our first day was GWK and Uluwatu Temple and I'm glad it wasn't just us because we were exhausted. They are both big sites and mixed with the heat, it's no wonder you were exhausted. We stopped for Luwak Coffee after the temple and it was exactly what was needed. I couldn't even take all of Uluwatu Temple in because I was so exhausted. So don't worry. Your VLOGS are honest and amazing. And that takes guts. Hoorah to you.

You are still so young and you will grow in wisdom a lot over the next years and even decades. You will get to a point where others opinions of you wont throw you off anymore and that is a liberating place. The mean lady who criticised you? Try not to take it personally because its not actually even about you. It is about the lady herself and what ever judgements and things that are going on in her own mind. You are selfaware and are wanting to grow in terms of personal development so this will hold you in good steed.

Ughh I hate that you experienced such a rude encounter. It really is sad that someone felt the need to do that. It can be so intimidating vlogging and taking photos in public, but you are doing amazing, we are so proud of you getting out there and doing the thing! One of my teachers growing up asked us this question and it's stuck with me over the years "is this something that is going to matter to me in 5 years? 10 years?" And when I think of things that way, it helps me not hold onto the negativity as long as I would normally. I think it's so important to feel what you need to feel, go through all the emotions but don't let it linger to long and bring you down too much. You are out there doing what makes you happy AND bringing so much joy, knowledge and light to others who look forward to seeing your face and your gorgeous photos! (They really are stunning! And GOALS 🙌) Keep up the good work, we are all cheering you on!

Hi Phoebe, I’m currently here also in Bali at the moment. Like you I had an uninspiring first day here with nothing much planned. So I took a trip down to Kuta beach and Seminyak. Like you I had a massage and yes it could have been firmer but it was still nice. The next could of days I have booked some day trips to Ubud and Nusa Penida so my trip should get a whole lot better. Enjoy your stay and if you feel anxious just take a deep breath and find something joyful or humorous to think about.

Bali is my first solo travel and its the best one in my life. I think People who cannot do this on their own are dependent on others.

Girl, I feel for you! Thank you for being so honest! I just came back from Bali on a solo trip (from Australia), for a week in Nov this yerar. And 5 years also visited bali Solo and next year moving to Bali solo! It's normal to feel a bit confused, out of place, uncomfortable because you are unfamiliar about the place. I just ask questions and make friends. I try to not take it to heart or put pressure on myself. The locals are friendly and always so helpful, even tourists are super friendly too. I've never come across really rude people in Bali so I'm so sorry you had to experience those comments from the girls! If I heard those comments from girls talking about me taking pics solo, I would have gone up to them and ask them why do they have the need to say that about someone and wished them a nice day LOL! Literally says so much about them and the fact that they clearly can't enjoy their own company to talk bad about you for having a great day and taking photos! Mind boggles me! I've travelled a lot solo and do things alone a lot, it's definitely a thing the more you practice, the more you feel so at home and comfortable in your own company. You learn how to trust yourself, develop confidence and you figure so many things out alone and become so much stronger along the way!! Love how honest this video was, stay true to yourself, keep pushing your comfort zone and this feeling will be a thing of the past and it will be soo normal girl!!

Well you r not alone 😂 my partner and I went to Bali (before Covid) and were so overwhelmed by the cultural and aesthetic differences between Australia and Indonesia that apart from one guided tour and one venture into town on foot we opted to stay within the relative safety and comfort of our resort…within our comfort zone so to speak ..

I think cus you listened to the Aussi instead of hearing them and they triggered your deep feeling on not being alone when you travel + what you do for a things to come and it might cause some doubts for you. So; - you will meet some1 who both of you appreciates cause you have lovely features for who you are - your channel is doing great and you always made great efforts with it, and its considered (at least for me) a great reference for travel places and attractions. We love you and when you’re let down take a nice adventure , read a book, call your parents or even surf the amazing ocean’s there it will help
