The new season of Marvel Snap is here and the first spotlight card is Nocturne - in this video I will give my honest opinion on her - whether she’s worth opening spotlight caches for. To me, she’s probably one of the best if not the best card of the season because of her good statline and unique ability that combines Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch’s powers. I think she’s going to be the card that’s still going to be around in the meta once the season is over, as long as she does not get nerfed into oblivion. I will also show you a fun deck with Nocturne you can try out - it’s a hybrid Silver Surfer move deck that I think utilises Nocturne’s abilities the best.

I got Nocturne and added her to my surfer deck, since then the deck has been more consistent and fun! I love this card.

I think some people will sleep on her and the value will increase over time greatly. But why is every single card a series 5 always?

@@3th4ngaming39I mean, I doubt the company is profit sharing in a way that would make sure the extra money they’re gouging us for goes to someone who might actually need it. It’s just corporate profits.

Money 100% If they release a new series 4 either people ask for it so it's just to pleased them or at this point it's won't be a great card (even tho mobius and ham is a good card), and if it's a good card they just nerf it until it become a okay card

I really like Scarlet Witch in a deck where I use Shang Chi. If we are in Shang Meta, I usually bring SW 9especially if also a Magik Meta) being able to kill a big thing, and turn off limbo on 6, was incredibly strong. Similarly, Maximus is the most power you can play for 2 energy, so he is great to pair with shang chi, too.

Yeah. What a great card. First time using it, my opponent threw a magneto on my Limbo lane and ended the match. Hell; I might even use it in a second match , some day

You think Hope can be swapped for Sera? I don't like Sera, when we are in a 3M meta. It seems like there's a lot of Mobius, at the moment.

The title of the video says "why Nocturne is the best card of the season," but there was no explanation as to why she is better than Sage, Namora or Sasquatch; especially Sasquatch. In the future, it would be helpful to compare the new card to the other upcoming cards to help people decide.

The downside is the lack of surprise factor with location change which is super important. Her stats are good enough for her to be an auto include in mid range decks.

she's not like nico where it attaches the affect to the player on next card play. so when she goes into deep space her ability turns off as soon as she enters

@@nguyendong20196 You can try Absorbing Man to copy either Brood or Surfer, but Shaw is one of the main win conditions for Surfer decks, so the deck will perform lot worse without him.
