You can make this stronger by using the Physick ingredient that boosts fire damage. You get it at the first Minor Erdtree you see when you get to Caelid

Update with more testing. 1. Holding it 1 hand or two hand doesn't effect L2 Tasker's Flame ability damage 2. Respec into Radagon's soreseal worth it - able to add +15 into Faith for more base damage - once I reached level 110, I had 60 faith and enough vigor, so I started leveling up END/DEX/STR so that I could free up the slot and remove radagon's. 3. Fire scorpion charm provides 1.12x on all fire damage, but you lose significant physical damage reduction 4. Flame, Grant Me Strength (FGMS) provides 1.20x buff for 30 seconds. Very short buff 5. Golden Vow provides 1.15x buff. Lasts 1min 20sec (90s) 6. Physick Flame Shrouding Cracked Tear provides 1.2x buff for 3 minutes! Boss fog door example: - Make sure you're at max HP and use Fire Scorpion charm and ritual sword talisman. - Quaff Physick, cast golden vow, cast FGMS - Try to get some hits in the first 30 seconds while all the buffs are out :) With radagon's soreseal, I respec'd to have minimum end/str/dex, and put +15 into Faith. Arithmetic: 1.2 * 1.2 * 1.15 * 1.10 * 1.12 = 2.04

I tested it out after I acquired most of the gear. 1. Faith+5 almost worthless 2. Radagon's soreseal doesn't effect the Taker's Flame L2 ability, and does a modest boost to regular attacks, but significantly reduces your damage reduction 3. Golden vow is bad ass at 15% more damage 4. Fire scorpion charm is also great at 12% more damage, but you lose significant physical damage reduction 5. Wearing great-jar's arsenal allows for heavier gear with more damage reduction and/or less endurance 6. Have a backup weapon for some areas where fire resistance is high, e.g. around volcano manor. Winged Scythe is still useful. Backup weapons I use Winged Scythe and Sacred Uchigatana. They both do bleed buildup and can be gotten pretty early in the game. Below is just boring data collection: All at full hp with 47 base faith, 22str, 16 dex, 9 int, 15 arcane Wearing Ritual sword talisman - at full hp you do more damage On the trolls South of the Warmaster's shack L2 Taker's Flame damage with blasphemous blade +6: 1150 - base with ritual sword talisman 1150 - radagon's soreseal - same as base 1177 - faith+5 - 1.019x (very tiny) 1288 - fire scorpion charm 1.12x 1323 - golden vow 1.15 1354 - golden vow + faith+5 ~1.023x (very tiny) 1482 - fire scorpion charm + golden vow - golden vow -> adding fire scorpion charm is 1.12x - fire scorpion charm -> adding golden vow is 1.15x L2 Taker's Flame damage with blasphemous blade +9: 1501 - base 1501 - radagon's soreseal - same as base 1540 - faith+5 - 1.025x (very tiny) 1681 - fire scorpion charm 1.12x 1726 - golden vow 1.15 1771 - golden vow + faith+5 ~1.026x (very tiny) 1931 - fire scorpion charm + golden vow - golden vow -> adding fire scorpion charm is 1.12x - fire scorpion charm -> adding golden vow is 1.15x 2-hand horseback with Blasphemous Blade +6: (switch to 2handed then get on horseback) 451 - base with ritual sword talisman 456 - faith+5 - 1.011x 471 - radagon's soreseal - 1.044x 474 - fire scorpion charm - 1.051x 518 - golden vow - 1.1485x 525 - golden vow + faith+5 - 1.013x from faith+5 545 - golden vow + fire scorpion charm - 1.052x from fire scorpion charm With Winged Scythe at +6 2-handed on horseback 441 - base with ritual sword talisman

All of these new build videos are insane! Idk where all the content creators find bosses that just let them cast lol. If I walk in there and hit any button or even look like might hit a button they move at Mach 4 and full combo me for the rest of the fight.

I'd like to see an updated version of this build after more playtesting. Looks super fun, trying to find a pyromancer build and this sword looks fun to pair with it

Great faith build, Im using it now. It melts the lower tier bosses for sure and does enough damage that the end game bosses are pretty easy too. One thing to mention for those going for this build is that if you kill the boss of volcano lair before doing the quests for Tanith you will be locked out of that quest line and unable to get the armor and one of the talismans he uses in this video.

An incantation that I could recommend that would compliment this build. Is called "flame, grant me strength", it boosts physical and fire damage

A weapon that pairs well with Blasphemous is Sword of Milos from killing dung eater. It will regen fp so these two in a combo are actually pretty good with the constant regen on both health and fp.

I'm kinda playing a Spellblade at the moment, but I absolutely love how many broken builds there are in this game. I kinda figured this would be the case with the open world nature, but this is the most power and agency we have been granted as players in the entire series.

Just want to thank you for this. I was getting bored of my Bloodfang and struggling on Malenia. Modified this build to work with Radahn's armour and ended up demolishing her.

Moxsy you gotta try the Flame, Grant Me Strength incantation. It raises fire attack power and it adds on so much damage.

You can take this a step further with the Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear and Faith-Knot Crystal Tear in your Physick. This is just about the same build I was using but you enhanced it for me :D

Watching you has made my experience so great in Elden Ring. I was never a huge souls game player but since this was like a new chapter to me a different world I tried it out and have been doing so amazing thanks to you. You should be able to add the incantation of "Flame Give me Strength" to increase fire damage even more

i've been running this sword with just about the same talismans besides i use the Great Jar and it's crazy as faith build able to run Radahn set with the gold scarab incantation helm/sacred blade secondary with medium load. may not be the best for full on damage using a talisman for equip load but seems to be working for me still hitting over 2k

As a confessor who initially went the Dark moon great sword route, I am so glad I decided to change to Faith!! Awesome build, I finally beat Godskin duo ( went with 3 buffs / heals + 2 Aoes with mimic). Thank you!!!

I was doing a strength build using Ruins Greatsword and late game that weapons damage is so insane. +10 S scale with 70 strength and over 2k hp felt so good. Not to mention almost every enemy in the game gets perma staggered. So much fun if you just want to do insane damage and never die. I also always ran the talisman that enhanced jump attacks to give it the extra bit of power

a great weapon to have sheathed while using blasphemous sword is sacrificial axe which has a similar effect, but restores FP on kill instead of HP :)

Dungeon bosses are not bosses to prove how strong your built is. Cuz any half decent build can melt them. Try the build on later story bosses, or major dragons. For me any build that can damage Melania like bleed or Moonveil is an ultimate build

11:12 first you need to get his friend to vouch for you before he adds that item to the shop. To do this you need to talk to someone in the main area of the round table and he will tell you use an emote when you hear howling in mistwood (name might be wrong but it’s the one with the giant bears and the minor erdtree). When you do this a wolf man stands near you and when you talk to him he will tell you to go somewhere to kill someone. Go there and when you get there summon him and he will fight with you making the fight more easy. After the battle talk to him again and he will tell you to say to the smith that he sent you to him and the talisman will become available to purchase for 5000 runes I believe.

Love the holy reaper build has got me thru the early to mid game and has been real fun I take a lot of damage when I go into my combo with the scythes but this build for sure is better with enemies with a lot of poise hate my scythes bouncing off armor it becomes a problem after my first play thru I really want to try a blood build

FightinCowboy put this same build out three days ago. Also, if you haven't progressed far enough for the three invasion quests from Volcano Manor, you can actually get to Rhykar for the sword immediately upon arrival at the Manor. Heading down the hallway from the Grace spot, the first door on your right contains a room with a fake wall. back rightish corner where the painting is. Smack that, travel through the area, cross the bridge with the big knight and turn the bar thing to raise the bridge. Kill the Godskin there and BAM you're at Rhykar without having to have ever been to the northern areas on the map. Lastly, use a greatshield against Rhykar, and just shield poke with R1 after upgrading the weapon to lvl 4 or 5 and you'll beat him on the second or third try. Trust me, it's the EASIEST WAY TO BEAT HIM BY FAR.

Man I just did your other build and almost maxed out weapons and used a lot of resources and now this build comes out and it’s way better 🤦‍♂️ lol

This build is only good for early/mid*edit* game. The dmg is mostly capped at what you get so far. Late game it's taking 20+ attacks to kill a boss. lol. You also have to account for some monsters resistances. *Dmg breakdown below for those that want to squeeze out a bit more*

I work a lot and have a family. I am having an absolute blast with this build. Clearing one dungeon after another, 1-3 hitting bosses :)

I can’t help but notice the knowing nod of Fromsoft putting this weapon in their game. “The ‘Blasphemous’ Blade” may not be an obvious Easter egg at first glance, but the thorn theme, faith scaling, and name are pretty obvious references to the side scrolling souls-like platform game “Blasphemous”. Even if this isn’t the case and it’s purely coincidental… I’d like to think that the artists at Fromsoft are fully aware that they created a whole new genre of game, and maybe feel the need to really showcase Elden Ring as the game that says “we’ve been listening” This game sits on the shoulders of giants. There are so many souls-like games that arose because of From’s success. I like to think they knowingly included this, and other secrets for fans of the genre to find.

I've done I a version of this duel wielding gargoyles greatsword and the blasphemous blade. I main hand the gargoyles so I can buff it with black flame blade or switch out for ashes of war sacred blade. at higher levels gargoyles greatsword has good faith scaling with sacred blade.

WARNING! This build is extremely potent, especially with the mimic ash. It does, however, make most of the end game bosses a cakewalk. Absolutely a great build, and so much fun, but if you want a challenge, try something else first. Some late game spoilers: I killed Malenia on the second try with this, Godskin Duo and Maliketh first try. Same with Godfrey 2.

I could not find the Taker's Cameo talisman, got all the rest of the gear, killed Rykarr... just never saw the talisman. Awesome guide though, I shared it with my gaming buddies. The best guide and build I have seen, thanks.

Couple Alterations that help this build squeeze out more damage: Marika's Soreseal instead of Radagon's as it raises your Faith, and a sidearm with Royal Knight's Resolve. You get almost double damage for 8 seconds.

I'm interested in seeing how well this build works in pvp 🤔 would definitely be a interesting video.

Really cool build, just noticed you haven't gone to the Divine Tower which is through Stormveil Castle - you'll need this to activate Great Runes that you pick up from main line bosses which will boost your stats even further.

A very important piece of information that is not told in this video is DO NOT KILL THE FINAL BOSS OF THE VALCANO before you do all the letters or you will be locked out of the questline.

This is a nice alternative to using the sword of night and flame as the special attack is a bit faster to activate. Was this damage shown with or without using an ARC?

12:15 you didn’t say where to get the mimic summon you only said “you will find it right here”

Use silver tear mask for +8 arcane to get that 17 arcane and use any dragon incant. . Almost every class start with 9 arcane (Only Vagabond and Samurai start with arcane lower than 9 . They start with ARC 7 /8 so it would need 1 or 2 points). Use any seal that scale with faith, because with around 300 Incant scale and buffs( golden vow, flame buff, + you can hold the drag comunion seal on the left hand just to get the bonus and use your faith seal for the high icant scale to use the incantation) you do more than 4k damage with dragon breaths at start of any boss fight. If you feel that dragon breath is too slow( at the start or during the fight) , use the Radagon Seal and/or the lower versions breaths that already cast faster.

Can you do a frost bite build?

Just FYI if you're making an arcane build, silver tear mask boosts a lot of arcane and it looks cool

How you got 4 talisman slots, im at the final Boss and still I only have 3

Almost 1 shots the weakest side bosses in the game that many builds can do also you mean :P. When you took on an actual boss you were doing less than half the dmg you were before due to enemy resistances. Side bosses are a joke. Solid build though

Holy crap that is a ton of info crammed in there. I thought I had gotten pretty far in my 80+ hour grind. I just hit 101, but im missing like half of what you have. I've been playing entirely without guides, but at this point I was feeling like I was missing a lot.... boy was I right. I guess I need to figure out that Ranni quest. I really wish there was a "quest log" of sorts. In this kind of game I find myself constantly wondering and pushing into and around areas I shouldnt or cant be in yet, and im talking to npcs. But by the time I get around to doing whatever it is was they wanted I have no idea what they said to do anymore.

I just finished making this build other then the scorpion charm. But wow. While the reaper build was cool. It wasn't what I had really wanted when I started out. Always had a paladin kinda build in mind when choosing the confeser. This is it.

So I changed to this build and I am not using summons that much because otherwise things get a bit too easy, specially using Radahn set. For walking around I am using ancestral spirit, takers cameo, claw talisman and carian filigreed. For bosses, I go bull-goat, fire scorpion, ritual sword and alexander. Bull goat really helps to get that hit in which you timed badly, 80 poise for the win. Thanks

Blasphemous blade is super easy to get, like the giant in ds3 it gives you a spear that severely damages it. btw, if you find the girl in the lakes asking for a necklace, the prawn merchant has it, when you take the lift she takes you directly to the volcano manor skipping straight to the manor, saves a bit of time if you happen to have done that or you're in the area to do it. She's just outside the lift on the left.
