Genrally it's not safe to shift gears in hairpin turns, when you are leaned in. Also these newer bikes have slipper clutch which make changing gears smoother.

@@MRR7 1st to 2nd gear like at a light turning, 35kmh is fine with clutch in? How does the quick shift work at a light if u clutch out, will it never stal

MT 07 Has great torque at low rpms and at speeds below 120 kmh. But at high rpms , the power drops significantly The Hornet has the peak power at 6000 rpm , you can feel the extra horsepower . It's way faster , has more technology.

@MRR7 i bought the Hornet a month ago, first i wanted to buy the MT07 but after see some reviews, i opted for the Hornet, has more power, more tech, better suspensions and brakes from the tests that i saw... I never tried a MT07 to be honest.. But i'm more than happy with the Hornet, super easy to ride, enough power, very agile, i think it is a very good for a first bike, it was my first "big" bike, first i had a Keeway RKF125, which isn't bad but the 125 are a bit too slow... It consumed like 2,5l/100km though, but it's not a "real" bike ahah, very little power at a exit of corner, gets boring after a few months.. In the Hornet on my way to work i did like 3,9l/100km, at normal speeds, but usually without thinking about fuel i can easly do less than 5l, i have tou pussh a lot to pass well then 5l's... Anyway i want to test a CBR650R in the future, see if it is as confortable as the Hornet and makes a big difference in wind protection.. Maybe in 4/5 years i will give it a try, buying a 4 cylinder just to have a different bike with Fairings...
